Michael Parr Poem
Since dawn of time, with arms out wide,
Thoughts of why the creators hide.
Searching at first came from within,
Imagined how it did begin.
Evolved into grand beings to serve,
Hellenistic culture did observe.
Titan’s son controlled all others,
Any being include his brothers.
Once was many, but then came one,
Next was a savior view of sun,
Old Testament turned into new,
Majestic hymns in every pew.
Years based on crosses wearing thin,
Link was made by the man Darwin.
Outrage still shouts around the earth,
Pure thought remains our future’s birth.

Michael Parr Poem
Conclusion of my story will be written,
Last chapter’s dust foretells life smitten,
Departure from voyage manifests fear,
Overcast prevents son’s reign to appear.
Avenues of entrance paving my head,
Haunting damnation constructing all dread,
Current thoughts taxed with paying a debt,
Noting bands of composure between my fret.
Salvational passage born from within,
Baptismal cleansing scrubbed innate sin,
Bearing towards heaven straight and true,
Gate knock judged, response long overdue.
Rite contract signed infantly long ago,
Fine print list details on heavenly bestow,
Foggy mindscape conceals scripted word,
Mental tears swell, all focal points blurred.
Avalanche tumbles down mountains of doubt,
Distance is surveyed from my point to devout,
Panic stricken, I race to cover lost ground,
Palms falling feet later, mend holy gaps found.
Revelationary stitching shall not fray,
My spirit will rise from time created to pray,
Earthly goods expire on the date you die,
Hope my soul possession transcends an eternal cry.

Michael Parr Poem
Your exit teased before turning around,
Quickly gaze to expose who you've found,
My boyish blush spotted by girlish glow,
Our eyes lock in tandem as we both know.
Naturally break in two genuine smiles,
Heart dropping moment without denial,
Vunerable selves were almost too real,
Frankly our chemistry made time stand still.

Crimson pools reflect
Blood stroked anaemic ideas
Shy canvas blushes

Michael Parr Poem
Young tears combat pain,
Yielding not to fear.
Ominous whispers echo,
Overwhelming all sound.
Unanimated shells reflect,
Upward bound hopes.
Resting in frozen agony,
Remembering someone.
Departed from families,
Drained of dear friends.
Empty hearts, not of love,
Eternal joy still a glimmer.
Air released in final breath,
All hurt becomes numb.
Dire thoughts fade to black,
Deity, march down the honor guide.
