Ending's Beginning

Since dawn of time, with arms out wide,
Thoughts of why the creators hide.
Searching at first came from within,
Imagined how it did begin.
Evolved into grand beings to serve,
Hellenistic culture did observe.
Titan’s son controlled all others,
Any being include his brothers.
Once was many, but then came one,
Next was a savior view of sun,
Old Testament turned into new,
Majestic hymns in every pew.
Years based on crosses wearing thin,
Link was made by the man Darwin.
Outrage still shouts around the earth,
Pure thought remains our future’s birth.

Love the span of intellect, the range of vision. Yet if I had to hold between faith and logic, give me faith. Welcome to poetrysoup, already you bring width to the discourse here. I pray we shall bring each other mutual support as friends. Good write.
