Fight at Night

On the first day, we were fighting for a doll,
In our secret hall.
I was angry and hit her back,
She was ready for my attack.

Next day again we fought till dark,
All the dogs started to bark.
I was very tired, we fought for so long
The birds started singing a sleepy song.

We kept fighting for the doll,
And soon we fall.
My parents came and asked what is going on,
We said we are doing karate.

Next day we again fought,
But this time, I thought.
The doll will break,
We are terrified our sleeping parents will wake.

I apologized to my little sister,
I told her you are a 5-star.
We hugged and stopped our cock-fight,
Fight over, end of the night.

Sunday is a Fun Day

I sleep deeply this Saturday night,
Dreaming I am a mighty knight.
But I remembered tomorrow was a Sunday,
And knew it was a fun day.

Playing is my job for now,
I am a Queen and my parents bow.
I play with the bow and arrow,
Then I see a sparrow.

It sings a little sweet song,
For very long.
Bored I yawn and tears come out,
And then the sparrow’s feathers I count.

And I just lie down,
But I just amazingly found.
That this is not a dream,
So I happily give out a scream.

The Pool so Cool

I was walking on the street
Some water splashed on my feet.
It was a pool,
Wow! It looked so cool.

I changed into my swimming suit,
And dove into the pool.
Playing in the water,
Suddenly I felt the water getting hotter.

Surprised I looked down to find a shark,
I splashed, kicked, pushed, and found it dark.
Scared I gave out a scream,
To find my sister pulling my leg out of the dream.

A Special Girl

There was a special girl,
Who had brown curls.
She was very smart,
But also had a kind heart.

The pets she would feed,
And also helps her friends in need.
The things she would fear,
She makes them clear.

She loves to run,
And she has a lot of fun.
She becomes better day by day,
Everybody loves her today.

The special girl is home,
And she has written a poem.
This gives her family joy,
Because of that she gets a new toy.

The Birthday

Ding-Dong, Who’s there?
It’s me, your student. Please come in.
I gobbled some chocolates,
And disposed of the wrappers in the bin.

Is there something special? Try & guess.
Are you going to do the ‘Magic If’?
Do you have memory loss?
You are not the boss!

I saw everything around,
And then went to the kitchen.
In the oven was Maria aunt’s birthday cake,
That somebody baked.

Maria aunty, it’s your birthday!
I should have remembered it first.
I crush my knuckles,
And tup-tup-whoosh, I hear a cracker burst.

You are very special.
You learn fast in the cast.
Very friendly and kind,
Old but not blind.

She teaches and also learns,
In her, the fire burns.
You take the lead,
At a very epic speed!

Let’s finish the talk,
And cut the birthday cake.
We sing the happy birthday song,
May God give you a life really long!
