Why I Can't Be One

"The days are numbered; I wonder when things will advance.
The day I will deliver to you, my idea of romance.
Eyes staring at eyes, emotions resonating like wildfire,
Anticipating the moment of ecstasy when you will admire.
Longing for attention, countless subtle hints I have given,
Appearing in your dreams, sparking feelings. I wonder why I can't be that one."

WAR and EVOLUTION

Tying stone in a shaft to crack a nut there must have been cheer
Now,hitting by projectile thousands mile apart in ambience of fear
Imagine the warmth in skin when they sewed two pieces together
Now we grief over burnt skin through grinades and trigger pulled over
There must have been alliance among beings when they first articulated words
Heart bleeds when disparity in language is causing people to pull swords
How happy they must be when seeds sprouted in organized farming
Mother earth struggling to feed her childrens situation is alarming.
The despair among mothers waving farewell when there was pernicious plague
As if diseases are not enough to annihilate there are piles of uranium on sell.

Game of love

Concealing intentions desperately, they refuse to speak.
Enjoying and flowing with this game of hide and seek.
Hardly organizing themselves when they meet,
Anticipating the other to take the lead.
Pity and fearful eyes might reveal intentions.
Yes, full of emotions, but what if the other one gets the notion?
In this beautiful game, deadlock still needs to be broken.

wound

There are wounds that never heal,
so you unsee them, like stubborn soot in a chimney.
The harder you rub, the more you expose a new layer to set in,
so you pretend it never happened.

Fleeting Moments

Clenching tightly, so moments don't fade away,
As bygone days once promised to stay.
Rejoicing in every instant to its utmost,
The spectacle may ultimately end in dismay.

Mist might mask vision, obscuring the sight;
The breeze might flow over, revealing delight.
Carrying echoes all the way to eternity,
Shade takes over, preceding the light.

Birds gather in spring as berries appear;
The optimistic tree devours days of cheer.
It might be the last spring; end days are near;
Perhaps leaves will cast off another year.

Fragile they are, fleeting days of laughter,
Draining into oblivion impossibly faster.
Meticulous attempt to lock happiness forever,
It slipped from my hold as I clenched tighter.

People In Love

My subtle emotions are conveyed in a timid gesture;
Might be trivia for you, my love, for me it's an adventure.
When I see you I can't unsee; when I hear, I can't unhear.
Feet shaking, nights awaking since you became my center.

When I conceal unconcelable, restrain inevitable,
Might be trivia for you, my love, but pain is unbearable.
When my shade covers you, only for you to pass by,
Heart swells up, my love; nerves are not stable.

Wary of vulnerabilities might read through eyes;
Might be trivia for you, my love, but you are my prize.
A day of resonating with you, while you take the lead,
Tired I am, my love, performing acts of sweet disguise.

A Journey Beyond

An out-of-this-world experience unfolds when it rains,
Inspired by compassion, a profound journey begins.
Painted with love, this path holds meaning deep,
For the journey carries more weight than the destination we seek.
Endless packages of love await to be unwrapped,
By God’s grace, two souls will share a roof, tightly clasped.
Each step is an adventure, as we turn a new page,
This journey isn’t merely a trip; it’s a sacred pilgrimage.

Flowing River

Isn't it amazing how it goes on like a flowing river?
Unaware of disheartening droughts and ecstatic springs.
The moments cherished together get lost in history.
Hearts once close decouple as a sweet mystery.
The eyes used to witness have no tomorrow.
All of a sudden, the heart is full of sorrow,
Leaving back the wound hard to recover,
Regretting over the words which were not uttered.
Leaving the clusters of emotion hard to deliver,
And life goes on like a flowing river.

About love

How far it tends to decorate a normal human life?
How it fills with color? How it makes life worth living?
How do you cheat time? It's impossible to explain how beautiful life seems.
All of a sudden, an angel appears and fulfills your romantic dreams.
You rely on her, you focus on her, she becomes your center.
She locks eyes with you, holds hands, and takes you on an adventure.
An adventure decorated with flowers, symphony, and rhymes.
The sheer agony you feel when hands are separated for a bit of time.
Forests you cross, rivers you cross, you can't imagine separation.
An adventure filled with extremes of emotions, exquisite pain, and elation.

Longing

Nature is giving its all; night is filled with stars and moon.
The major missing piece of the puzzle is certainly you.
Flowers are competing, blooming, and appearing bright.
Yet, to know beauty is unjustified if you are not beside.
Spring is approaching and trying to appear darling;
It would be just another season hadn't you been so charming.
The moon is trying to prove its worth by appearing so bright,
Too naive to know brightness will intensify if my love has sight.
