Charissa Gonzalez Poem
Tonight I'm
Sitting, waiting
Waiting for your
Call
I don't know
Why
I don't know
Why
But you've
Been on my mind
And I can't
Explain why
Tonight I'm
Thinking of
How to get rid
Of you and
Your poisons
You let me
Drink so freely
Knowing how
I'll fall
Fall so easily
Down the
Rabbit hole
I don't know
Why
I don't know
Why
But you've
Been leading me
On with that
Cheshire cat smile
And I can't
Explain why
Tonight I'm
Fighting with
Myself on
Whether or not
To just wake up
And let the Queen
Chop your
Head off
I don't know
Why
I don't know
Why
But you
Had your
Chance
And I can't
Explain why
You're as mad
As a hater
And so I say
Goodbye
To your
Wonderland

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
Man whore
What's her name
What's her name
It sounds so
Familiar
In ringing ears
You drank too much
Again
Man whore
Whose she
Whose she
And why won't
She leave
Your head's pounding
How do you get
Her out of your bed
Man whore
You didn't mean it
You didn't mean it
You never do
You hope she
Understands
Walks out
And never calls

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
So I've
Known
Maybe
I didn't
Always
Say it
Or acknowledge it
But I've known
And you sit
There smug
Happy&content
But I've
Known
You're just
An act
But who
Am I to say
And point
The finger
When
I've always
Known
I'd be the
Same way

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
On her hands
And knees
Searching
The floor
Has it crawled
Away
Disappeared
Into his mound
Her skin
Is bare
Bra is all
She's looking
Searching
For her dignity
It's gone
Underneath
His smell
His world
So small
She is
In comparison
Of it all
On her hands
And knees
Searching
For her dignity
Her
dignity

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
Peachy
So peachy
The wind
Trying to
Blow me
Down
And you calling
Knocking
Me to
The ground
I don't
Understand
How peachy
So peachy
You sound

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
What's this
No it can't
Be this
I'm stupid
And I fall
Despite scars
It's a pain
To pretend
And still stumble
What's this
No I'm suppose
To know it
And yet I'm
Faulted in areas
Of the heart
See I can't
Feel the normal
Pangs
What's this
No I'm smarter
Than that
Even with
Numb chests
Comes intelligence
I must be sick
Why does it
Come to this?

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
I feel the tide
Pulling
And tugging
My heart
My head
My body
Into two
What do I do
Where do I go
When everything's
A choice I have
To make
I feel the seasons
Splitting
And tearing
My emotions
My thoughts
My actions
Into four
What to be
Where to flee
From former
Yous and mes
I feel the days
Dividing
And subtracting
My hours
My minutes
My life
Into seven
What to know
Where to blow
Away where things
Don't materialize
So easily

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
I'm biting
My tongue
Biting down
Bleeding
But you still
Won't have
Any of that
So I bite
Harder
That's what you
Want
Just like
That
Keep quite
And just
Be here
I'm binding
My feet
So small
I could never
Escape from
Your grasp
'Cause in your
Arms I must stay
That's what you
Want
Just like
That
Stay still
Until you come
Home
I'm beating
Myself down
I'm not even
Worth my own
Time of day
So I just break
Everything in
Me
That's what you
Want
Just like
That
Broken
You're the only
Thing that keeps
Me together
I'm packing
Myself up
Sending me off
Far away
From "love's" chains
Find a new place
And love me again
That's what you
Get
Just like
That
Gone
You're going
To have trouble
Sleeping again

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
I miss
The sounds
Simple
Tunk tunk
Beating
From my
Chest
I laid it
To rest
One day
I couldn't
Stand
The sensations
That vibrated
And shook
My core
I miss
The smell
Simple
Like pheromones
Drifiting
In the air
To my nose
I stopped it
When I knew
I'd never catch
A good man
A good friend
The truth
Came out
Much to harsh
I miss
Him
Simple
Boy
Who stole
My heart
And hide it
I tried to
Keep it
But I decided
He could see it
I was wrong
And he was wrong
We knew nothing
And now
I am nothing
To him
Without a heart

Charissa Gonzalez Poem
A million and
One
Women in
His bed
One fell out
And bumped
Her head
Brought the
Sheets
Down with
Her to the
Ground
And found
He was gone
Leaving
A million
Women in
His bed
