Bed Of Roses

I was talking to the moon last night and the moon was talking about the sun and i told him something about you.
I told him how you'd stay awake with me at nights
and solve all my problems.
i told him how i fell in love with you despite knowing how love ends well for me.
I told him how your voice sounds like a melody to me and puts me to haze even on your worst days.
I told him how the distance between us was something that would eventually erase and one day I'd be on the bed while you'd prepare breakfast for us.
I told him how much i hate children but I'd love to see a mini you with your eyes and nose.
I told him how much I'd love to have a picture of us hanging in the hall while we're striking weird poses.
I told him how I'd just be happy if you gave me a single flower cause your arms would feel like a bed of roses.

My Soul

My soul has embedded your name,
And within this heart's rhythm, it finds its tune.
I pledge my heart's sanctuary, to you alone,
And if i can not reach you,
Then i will pursue till the ends of this earth.
If so I find that you not lie here,
I'll traverse the realms, calling upon your name.
No regrets for encountering love so profound.
And words may fail to capture what I felt,
Yet, I'll write of you ceaselessly,
And when my hands grow frail, unable to write,
I’ll find my self narrating stories,
Tales of the day I found what it meant to be loved discoverer.

Sleep For An Eternity

I want to sleep for an eternity.
Does that make me selfish?
For not caring for the impact I may have,
Or am I fine because I know the impact will be little.

The emptiness inside me grows,
As I feel the weight of being alone,
No one seems to care or see.

I want to disappear into the night,
And let the darkness be my guide,
For what's the point of carrying on,
When no one seems to notice I'm gone.

But is it selfish of me to think this way,
To wish to slip into eternal sleep and stay,
Or is it okay to feel this pain,
And long for a love that feels in vain.

The impact of my leaving may be small,
But the thought of it still feels like a fall,
For what about the people who might care,
And the love that I could share.

You Hold The Key

I was a fool, deceived, my trust misplaced,
Believed in sharing what you gave with grace,
It was fragile and now left disgraced,
And with it broken, I have no one to embrace.

I cannot fall asleep,
For sleep evades,
And this pain thrives in these restless night,
You understand?, definitely,
For you can comprehend this plight.

I have sinned countless times,
And yet I always find my way back,
Feet upon this mat, remorse in my heart,
Will I be forgiven?,
Guide my broken heart, peace to restore.

Theirs a lot I wish to speak,
Yet I have forgotten,
Forgotten the voice I once was so eager to keep,
Embarrassed, I once again find myself lost without peace.

I cannot speak yet I know,
Know that you are the master of this heart,
In silence, you hold the key,
To mend what is broken, to give hope to my soul.

Shouldn't've Confessed

I shouldn't have confessed that i loved you,
for now my heart aches with a burning blue ,
i wrote each and every word with nothing but the foolish truth,
and now look at me, i am the fool.

i had thought you felt the same,
but now i see it was all in vain,
for you my love was just a game,
and i another pawn in your play.

i drank my own poison,
choosing to live in a lie rather than have us die

I Was Here

I want you to remember that i existed,
that i am alive.

But often I feel invisible, like a whisper in the wind,
A fleeting moment in time, that nobody has pinned.

I yearn for someone to see me, to know that I've sinned,
To feel the warmth of recognition, before my time is thinned.

For to be noticed is to be seen, to know that we matter,
To have someone acknowledge us, before our life's a scatter.

And so I wish you to know I’m here.

The Millisecond

There was that millisecond of a moment,
when i caught your eyes staring wonderly at my blank-clueless face,
and in that moment I lived a lifetimes worth of love and pain.

Dazed

I've been dazed and confused
From the day I met you
Yeah I lost my mind
And I'd do it again
Either I've seen the light
Or I'm losing my mind
There's something about you
That's got me dazed and confused.
I wanna be alone
Alone with you
Does that make sense,I don't care
I want to steal you away
And lock you away in a treasure chest

Leave or Stay

And all the sudden I’m stuck,
Wanting to wait for you and wanting to forget you,
I'm torn between the memories of us,
And the pain you left me with.
My heart still beats for z asQ you,
But my mind knows it's time to quit.
I want to wait for you, I really do,
But I know I can't put my life on hold.
So I'll try to forget you, day by day,
Though memories of you are hard to withhold.
It's bittersweet, this love we share,
Filled with moments of joy and sorrow.
But even as I try to move on,
I know you'll always hold a piece of my heart for tomorrow.

Slave For Love

I am a slave to love,
For I can not control the feelings that burn inside.

I am a slave to my feelings,
For which i am lost in.

A foolish man I am,
A man who can not stop loving.

My soul consumed by passion's fire,
No chains or bonds could hold me down.

With every beat, my heart's desire
Guides me to where love can be found.

Yet though I am enslaved by love,
I would not trade this pain for silver or gold.

For in this pain I am alive,
And life without love is far too cold.

So let me love and be enslaved,
A willing captive of this fate.

For love is all I've ever craved,
And in its grip, I find my state
