Love is something you dont take for granted
It is something that cannot be replanted
It is something to hold onto, never letting go
A sentimental feeling in which to reap and sow
Love is something you just cant explain
It is a felling insind in which your heart contains
Loving someone can be easy or sometimes hard
But love is not that simple as a birthday card
Its much more than that, a lot more
Love is when you care for someone, someone you adore
Its..... a lost for words, you cant explain
When you love someone so much, that your hearts in pain
Love is truly something to cherish
In your heart, it will continue to flourish

A friendship that lasts so long
Someone you can hold onto
A friend whos there for you
Someone who cares and loves you
A friend that you can come to
Someone who really cares
Of course you want a friend like this
But this friend isn't really there
Instead you have friends that come and go
And just leave you behind
They make decisions for you
And you never use your own mind
You are lost without a true friend
That you can really count on
But then someone comes along
That you can truly depend on
The kind of friend you've wanted for so long
You know shes never leaving
You finally found a friendship
But wait... you're only dreaming

Consider being left alone
with no where to turn
No one to run to
or no one to come to
when---
your feeling down and depressed
hold your head up child
and look for the best
because life aint all it cut out to be
Its a whole lot more you see
There's ups and downs and even curves
But dont let all that get on your nerves
Just pick yourself up and brush your shoulders off
cuz aint no sense trying to run off
into the darkness where theres noone there
just cuz you think that life's not fair
It's not, I know, so don't let it get to you
Because what people tell you may not be true
Just listen to your heart and be true to you
