Before You

In my lifetime I have loved many
Not necessarily men
or women
or anything
But everything

I have loved:
neighbors
friends
movie stars
movie shows
pets
parents
marilyn monroe
and E.T.
Old women in grocery stores
Old men in parks

My love is open to suggestion...
It's open to anyone

But I have not known love
I have not known the ache of absense
The longing for a touch
The butterflies
and sleepness nights
I have never touched love with my hands
or felt it melt against my lips
I have never cradled love between arms and legs
I never knew love was heaven
I never dreamed heaven would be so hot against my flesh

How could I have survived time
before now
before love
BEFORE YOU

Unleash

Unleash your fire, spark that turns flame in your chest and breaths through your eyes,
bloodstone red.

Unleash your desire, hot moist dew, like rain between your thighs, rising in to your soul you
once thought dead.

Unleash your fear, smoldering heat, a pain lodged in your throat and swallowed like pride
you hold in your head.

Unleash your spirit, I've still yet to tame with my mouth and my naked true self, alone in my
bed.

Invisible Goddess

I hear her song
Through tree limb flutes
and saw grass violins
I feel her touch
Green velvet garden
Padded with soil
I see her sorrow
In raindrop tears
and her smile
With the morning sun
Her name is WIND
As if any Goddess could be named
Or tamed

A silent protector
In still nights
An aggressive soldier
When the enemy is near
INVISIBLE GODDESS!
Know I sense your breath
God's breath
Know I am graced by your presence
Your abundance
Your knowledge
Be my mother
My partner through life's wilderness

Blanket me with your soul
Humans call air
Remind me with your anger
Humans call storms
Fill me with your laughter
Humans call breeze
Then lift me up above the clouds
So I might see this small dot
Humans call home

Bad Dream

Call me a whore
Tell me you hate me
Rip off my clothes
Spit in my face
Drop me in to a bucket
and pour acid all over me
Laugh while I cry
In pain
Agony
Tear the skin off my face
and the hair off my scalp
Turn in to a monster
and chase me in to a barn
Where a blood stained pitch fork awaits
With the head of the last girl nearby in the hay
Nothing moves but her eyes and her mouth
as she stares and she smiles
While you're poking holes
That won't bleed
Hollow holes
So you can see through me
Then throw me over a cliff
and while I'm falling
WAKE ME UP!!!!
Hold me tight
say you love me
and it was just a bad dream.

Don'T Touch Me

Some people touch
With their hands
With their minds
With their heart
With their eyes
Some with lies
Some with goodbyes

People are touched
By a gesture
A song
A poem
Someone else's despair
Some don't care
Some never dare

"That was touching."
"She touched me."
"Touch me for luck."
Phrases that really say,
"I don't give a F____K!"

PLEASE don't touch me
Walk away
Don't look back
Sit alone in darkness
Until you forget what I look like
Forget my smell
My walk
My voice
and my smile

Question your love
"Why can't I remember her?"
Feel guilt
It's OK
Until desperation sets in
Then close your eyes
Ask God to help you remember
That special something
That made you feel so good inside
So needed
So touched
MY TOUCH

At that moment
You will know I am there
Your body will shiver
Your eyes will water
Your heart will pump my blood
Because I am inside you
I am you
We don't have to touch
BECAUSE WE ARE ONE

I Will Be

I will be a flower blossoming
Where only cactus grow
When there is no rain
and the land becomes desert
I will be the sweetest river
When the sky is dark
and there is no light
I will be the brightest star
When the world becomes a WAR-GAME
and no one cares about him
Not even himself
I will be his backbone
and I will keep him alive
Next to GOD
I will be everything
and next to GOD
He will be everything to me.

Pieces of Me

Pieces of me
Everywhere
In corners of closets
and drawers
In notebooks
and trashcans

This is everything
My pen is everything
That even I don't understand
about myself

I have my forever
on paper
Thank you, GOD
For pain and hate
Love and tears
For feelings
For words
and the gift of turning them
in to a song.

Do You Ever Cry?

Do you ever cry?
Are you ever afraid
of feelings you've felt
and decisions you've made?

Do you feel alone
and away from your soul?
Do you fear love
or is it your goal?

Are you a man
or a woman who hates?
Do you wish for your death
or rather your fate?

Are you lost in yourself
or lost in a crowd?
Do you hang on each word
that is spoken aloud?

Are you young, are you old?
Are you pleased with your life?
Are you somebody's husband
or somebody's wife?

Are you happy or sad?
Do you wish you could fly?
Just one more question:
DO YOU EVER CRY?

Listen

It takes more than an ear to listen
Lies are heard with desire
The want deciphers what is heard
Then begins the transformation
Changing what the mind knows
the heart will never accept

This interpretation is cruel
Battering the soul with declarations
that compromise pride
Leaving only emptiness with reality

Time can't heal what wasn't heard
So I want you to listen to me...
and be mindful of the veracity of which I speak
For the mouth sometimes speaks with desire
and my desire is far greater than words

YOU ARE BEAUTIFUL TO ME
Like a blossom in a field of barley
You stand alone
and shine under the sun
I want to touch you
and take you away from this place
I want to plant you in a bed of green
A warm bed
My bed
I want to be your pillow

I can not tell you where we will be
Or if where includes me
I can't see tomorrow
Or promise tonight
I can promise this
From my heart to your ear
I WILL ALWAYS LISTEN

It's Raining

it's raining outside
i'm so alone
and so afraid
of always being so alone
it seems a waste
behind the window
when God is kind enough
to cry along
and he brought the wind
that through the trees
sings to me
a lovely song
a lonely
lovely
song
