A Day Without You

A day without you, Is a day without me,
For you make me who I am,
And who I want to be.
A day without you,
Is a day without light,
For you light up my sky, And you light up my life. A day without you,
Is a day without sound,
For I open my ears, To hear you around.
A day without you,
Is a day without cheer,
For you make me smile, And you don't cause a tear. A day without you,
Is a day without sight,
For you open my eyes, And make my world bright.
But a day without you, Will never be,
Because I trust in you, That you will never hurt me

A True Soul Mate

Only once in your life, I truly believe, you find someone who can completely turn
your
world around. You tell them things that you've never shared with another soul and
they
absorb everything you say and actually want to hear more. You share hopes for
the future,
dreams that will never come true, goals that were never achieved and the many
disappointments life has thrown at you. When something wonderful happens,
you can't wait
to tell them about it, knowing they will share in your excitement. They are not
embarrassed to cry with you when you are hurting or laugh with you when you
make a fool
of yourself. Never do they hurt your feelings or make you feel like you are not
good
enough, but rather they build you up and show you the things about yourself that
make
you special and even beautiful. There is never any pressure, jealousy or
competition but
only a quiet calmness when they are around. You can be yourself and not worry
about what
they will think of you because they love you for who you are. The things that seem
insignificant to most people such as a note, song or walk become invaluable
treasures
kept safe in your heart to cherish forever. Memories of your childhood come back
and are
so clear and vivid it's like being young again. Colors seem brighter and more
brilliant.
Laughter seems part of daily life where before it was infrequent or didn't exist at
all.
A phone call or two during the day helps to get you through a long day's work and
always
brings a smile to your face. In their presence, there's no need for continuous
conversation, but you find you're quite content in just having them nearby. Things
that
never interested you before become fascinating because you know they are
important to
this person who is so special to you.
You think of this person on every occasion and in everything you do. Simple
things bring
them to mind like a pale blue sky, gentle wind or even a storm cloud on the
horizon.
You open your heart knowing that there's a chance it may be broken one day and
in
opening your heart, you experience a love and joy that you never dreamed
possible.
You find that being vulnerable is the only way to allow your heart to feel true
pleasure
that's so real it scares you. You find strength in knowing you have a true friend
and
possibly a soul mate who will remain loyal to the end. Life seems completely
different,
exciting and worthwhile. Your only hope and security is in knowing that they are a
part
of your life.

You Are My Everything

When we first fell in love
I thought that nothing could compare
To the magical romance
That you and I had come to share.

But as time passed, feelings deepened,
And our closeness grew
The romance turned into
A real and lasting love with you.

You care for me in all the ways
I want and need so much.
Ive felt your warmth and tenderness
With every word and touch.

I know I can depend on you
For support and honesty,
That patient understanding
That you always give to me.

Theres a special kind of happiness
That only love can bring,
And Ive found that happiness with you...
You are my everything.

From the Moment We Met!

From the moment we met
We’ve been teaching each other about love,
Now we’ll learn that
There's no one I’m more fond of.

And on this day of matrimony
A new lesson has begun,
May we teach and learn how
To bring two lives--Together-- as one!

May we discover how Love can show itself
In the most unexpected ways,
Without even saying a word
We'll master what others want to say.

May we learn that together
We can achieve anything,
And may you discover
That sometimes listening
…is more important than talking.

May we rediscover the art of communication
Just as we did as a child,
May we learn that some of the best conversations
Are spoken with just a smile!

May we learn that it's possible to be
Tough and tender at the same time,
Know that our love can only grow stronger
Just as long as we're by each other's side!

May we learn that Things are never as bad
As we think they are,
Together…we can move mountains
While reaching for the highest star!

Unity is showing someone you care about
That they are worth taking the risk,
May we learn that exposing your fears
Is not a sign of weakness!

But a sign that our love for each other
Is special all its own,
And no matter what we may go through
May we never go through it alone!

May we learn how to fill our life with laughter
Even when we want to cry,
May we discover that giggling at each other
Will give us strength to wipe tears dry!

May we always be each other's guide
And always try our very best,
To never forget the importance
Of how to Love, Cherish & respect.
