If You Love Someone...You Should Set Them Free!

Pastures greener
are calling your name,
but I cant seem to set you free.

The last supper, the last song still holds no support for me.
I need you to be here, selfishly, always.
Holding my hand, helping me find myself when I lose my way.

I now have to let you go.
Release you from my grasp or I will lose you forever, I know.
But just hold me one last time for one last moment

and I shall travel with you in your dreams now.

Love, the Battlefield.

Fighting a losing battle
Pushing against the wind.
Mama always told me
T'will be worth it in the end.

Pressure building strong
and more words cutting deep.
Trying to prove the wrong
on the reasoning that be.

Lights fading, darkness falling
Words spoken as a must,
Problems jumping from behind
that were swept along with dust.

Approaching from a turn-style
keeping both feet standing strong
No doubt in my mind at all
That this had gone on far too long!

Reasoning aint easy
Parting ways just breaking hearts
Nothing can be justified
So I guess the end did start.

Love ending friendship breaking
but who was all to blame
was it you who never loved at all
but loved love as a game?

I Hope...

I am new at this...
New at being someone else’s.
New at being yours.
New at having to give my entirety to another soul.

Don’t hold me in high regard...
I might fall or worst of all
I might hold you up and drop you stupidly
I might break you.

I might try hard to hard...
You might hate me.
You might want to flee from my naivety,
I might get scared.

When you want to hold me
I could shrug you away.
When you need to be held
I might crumble and not survive for you.

What if I’m not good enough?
Strong enough?
Perfect enough?
Because you are all of these.

I hope I can make you happy.
I hope I can make you proud.
I hope I can make you everything you want to be.
I hope I can be me.

But I will try...
Try to be someone else’s entirely.
Try to be yours absolutely.
Try to give you the entirety of my soul endlessly.

I hand you me,
In all my newness and doubt,
But more importantly I hand you all My love, Myself and My heart,
For now and what I hope can be... forever.

Useless

I find myself in a dark place now,

Somewhere with no cracks of light or open doors

...Darkness!

I am falling deeper and deeper into a transparent despair,

Nobody can see me.

Nobody can reach me.

The self destruction button of mine you pressed to hurt me

It’s pushing me down further and further,

And you let it.

You watch it and most of all you wallow in it.

You don’t need me now.

And you won’t again.

So I am of no use to anyone due to your adolescent ways.

You succeed.

You win.

I....

I lost.

You...

That smile...

That smile that edges so close to perfection it makes winter feel like summer.

That smile that fills a whole room up with warmth and happiness.

You use it,

In the most sensational way and yet better still you don't even know.

Not a clue.

It makes hearts glad that know you and ones that don't want to know you.

Your smile...

My favorite thing,

apart from you...

....Your my favorite thing.

Trapped No More.

In one moment...things changed.

Things that were locked away at the bottom of my chest,
were suddenly spiraling out from my mouth like music notes from a song.

But not a good song.
A song that should not have been released,
a song too truthful that only I should hear.

But in that one moment
everything that weighed me down,
everything that held me back
and hurt and bruised me for so long
was now unleashed from my heart.

I was free.

But you there, standing, just listening to everything I had to say.
Not flinching,
Not angry,
Just staying put like a stone in a storm..perfectly intact.

You let me unleash my words.
You took them with grace.
And hugged me.

I knew then how even though my declaration was made,

Nothing.......

would ever change.

Without You

I no I shouldn't think like this,
Its not how it should be.
I really shouldn't hurt this much
Its clearly not meant to be.

If loving you was easy
I'd have given up the fight.
But the fact that I cant have you
makes me need you in my life.

Its an endless battle,
Surviving just about.
The pain that creeps in to my bones
makes me unable to go without.

Holding you in my arms so tight,
Never wanting to let go..
listening to your heart beat
what your thinking I'l never know.

But all you asked was for a friend
and nothing else you'll have.
I can never be the one
that you want to hold your hand.

I don't know how I can let you go
or change where my heart does lie.
All i know is that without you
my heart would break in time.

Its scary how this could happen
because its you and me.
For this buried deep dark secret
keeps me from you & you from me.

Without you I am nothing.
Together we rule the world.
But theres things I will never tell you
Because without you...

Theres no me.
