Fallen Warrior

Fallen warrior
I miss you.
You were my homie I
talked to when times were
bad.
You were there to cheer
me up when at times I was
sad.
You turned me friendly
whenever I was mad.
Fallen warrior
I love you
you were my brother like
no other.
we were tight, like bread
and butter.
Hope your doing better
than all right;
Hope your on that side in
the golden light,
I pray for you every night.
Fallen warrior
I missed the times we had,
and will cherish all the
memories I now have.
Fallen warrior rest in peace
the creator, like me, has
respect for all deceased.
Here it's been hard to
disarm the charm of
snakes like fakes with
candied toungues.
A solitary, nocturnal stroll
I've been on,
in a cell I fell face first,
where the borders
between dreams and
schemes burst
My heart's cold; it's hard to
see the diamonds in the
coal;
surrounded by switchblade smiles that
invite forbidden thoughts
meanwhile; influences
voice a whispered caress.
My hands outstretched to
what I can't touch.
Man; it's just my luck
I'm short on trust yet lust for
love.

Why Am I Here

Foced in with no escape
just because of one mistake
simply waiting on a date
to return after man has decided our fate.
We ask, why am I here?

After the gang we served over Christ
and all the crimes and all the heists.
After the people we jumped like opposition
and the property damage, our
endless mission.
We ask, why am I here?

After the drugs we sold, to whom no care
and the fights started simply from stare.
After getting high everyday
and the Devil we invited into our hearts
to stay.
We ask, why am I here?

After denying face to our son
the burden we caused our mom, It
weighed a ton.
After our family and home, that
we destroyed
and after all the women we have toyed.
We ask, why am I here?

After school expulsion, all our fault
and the yougsters to be like us we taught.
After the name we gave our neighborhood
and doing everything except, what
we should.
We ask why am I here?

After the hopes of others, we
happily crushed
and their lives to us didn't mean much.
After all the people we put to shame
and playing with life as if a game.
We ask, why am I here?

After the second or third time being here
and the thought of return brings no fear.
After everything we have done wrong
even though deep down we know we belong.
We ask, why am I here?

You and I

You and I are connected in
a way that goes beyond romance, beyond friendship,
beyond what we've ever had before.
It has defied time, distance,
even changes in ourselves and in our lives.
And it has defied every explanation
exept one: purely and simply, we're
soulmates.
I can't explain it.
I just feel it.
It's there in the way my spirit
subtly lifts when we talk, how
the sound of yuor voice brings me home
in a way I can't explain.
It's the delight I feel when we
laugh at exactly the same things.
When I'm with you, It's like a tiny part
of the universe shifts into the place it's supposed to be,
and all is right with the world.
These things, and so many more have made me understand
that this is a once-in-a-lifetime, forever, connection
that could only exist between you and I.
And deep in my soul, I know that our relationship
is a rare gift, one that will bring us an extaordinary happiness all through our lives.
That's why I love you.

Loving Me 4 Me

The feelin i get when we kiss,

The feelin i get when we touch,

Knowing that your lovin me 4 me is all i need,

Stripped of all make-up no need for fancy clothes, no cover ups with him,

I don't have to put on a show he loves every curve, every inch of my skin,

Fullfilling me entirely, taking all of me in he's real, he's honest, and

he's lovin me 4 me.

Abandoned

As the days turn to weeks
I feel it in my heart,
there's no doubt in my
mind.
We're drifting further apart.
You never write anymore
and you won't accept my
calls,
you ignore me like some
stranger
you never loved at all.
Although I try and I try
to deal with this pain,
it's eating me alive inside
and slowly driving me
insane.
I cry myself to sleep
at night.
Cold and alone in this bed,
and no matter how
hard I try
thoughts of you won't leave
my head.
You want me to believe
that everything you told me
wasn't a lie,
but that's kind of hard to do
when you never even said
good-bye

Friend

A friend like you is a
special gift...
We like to do so many of
the same things, and we
share alot of wonderful,
fun, moments.
You respect me for my
strengths, as I admire you
for yours.
We encourage each other
during our difficult times.
I know I can be myself with you.
A friend like you is a
precious gift...
Everyday, I want
to wish you all your best
dreams come true, and that
you have success and
happiness, a fulfilled heart,
and laughter.
I want to tell you that I
cherish our friendship.

I Love You

I love your soft touch and your
tender kiss,
It's not only your smile it's your laughter
I miss.
The key to my heart is like a key to the
pearly gates,
come, you may enter this yet never seen place.
I love you and I say this because I only
say what is meant.
Through a text, through a letter my love can
be sent.
Understand it cannot be sold but you will
pay what it costs, although you must be aware
true love can never be brought.
When words are this real it's better
face to face when told,
I loved you then, I love you now, I'll
love you when you grow old, because
the seed that we've planted has grown into a beautiful rose.
I place no one above you and I can't wait to
kiss and hug you.

For my loving wife Cortney
