Oh! Darling
You could have asked
me for
Moon and Aurora
But,
How am I supposed to see through,
your rose tinted glasses?
Embedded within my soul
How am I supposed to break through
this desolation?
Break free from this;
this ricocheting sadness
Don't you understand?
Make a run for it
Before I,
I pull you into the abyss

River blue t-shirts
side by side,
three pairs of shoulders.
Wish on an eyelash
for wide smiles,
and shades of black-brown eyes,
gleaming.
Favourite, yellow flower
twelve of them
tied with floral tape
on the new moon, monday,
bright blue sky
