A World So Cold

A World So Cold

What is this place we live in?
This, a place where once you saw a friend, now stands an enemy.
This, a place who's lifeblood is pain, lies, and deception.
This, a place where honesty and decency are oh too rare.
This place, a world so cold.

What is this that I feel?
This, the suffering of a people, ridiculed, hated and prosecuted.
This, the sting of betrayal from a brother turning his back due to what I am.
This, the pain of being different, hated in a so called "diverse society".
This feeling, a world so cold.

What is this that I see?
This, the destruction of a mans life, just because he wasn't the same color.
This, the brutal beating of a person because they weren't straight.
This, the genocide of a people due to their religious beliefs.
This, the sight of a world so cold.

Why do I suffer so?
I suffer for faith in humanity as a whole, that we can live in peace.
I suffer for a day that I can be openly me without fear of discrimination.
I suffer for the generation of tomorrow, so that they may live better than I.
I suffer for this world, a world so cold.

What do I say?
This, that I am proud of who and what I am.
This, that I would stand up for my friends, my beliefs, and my life.
This, that I shall not break when you call me "fag", "furvert" or the likes,
This, that I fight to save a world so cold.

Bdsm (Bravery/Divinity/Saviour/Martyr)

Bravery/Divinity/Savior/Martyr
Hobbes

Bravery, divinity, savior, martyr,
Each word is powerful in its own right.
Each tying together,
Bound by chains forged of iron.

Bravery is a trait not commonly found,
And often we find,
To the brave we are bound.
But this bondage comes with a price...

Those who walk the divine path are few,
Though high in presence.
They often demand dominance of their people.
A dominance so unsavoury and unfitting for the divine.

A man called saviour it is often found,
Is a slave to his people.
Sold to slavery for the good of all,
As he accends to his richeous standing.

Last but not least the martyr gives her life,
Layed down for the one she calls master.
Be it noble cause or religous zeal,
The master claims her life in the end.

Bondage, Dominance, Slavery and Mastery,
Each word is powerful in its own right.
For in the end even the greatest men and women,
Are sucum to the chains of BDSM.

The Tiger General

The Tiger General
Hobbes

The Tiger general strode onto the field of battle,
Tail flowing eloquently as he walked.
And then he turned to his men and began to speak,
They fell instantly silent as he talked.

The general led his men with a strong presence and iron resolve,
They fell into line at a quick command.
When they marched he always took the head,
And lead his men across the fields of sand.

His men followed him with love, respect and admiration.
His feats were the stuff that make up great tales.
Each fur who followed him took every order to a tee.
And when it comes to plans he never fails.

The tiger knew this battle was different then the last,
He felt the tides turn on the winds of change.
He knew that something horrible was about to happen.
He didn't know about the scope or range.

It was in the thick of the combat that he found it out,
and his face changed to one of hidden pain.
But he never showed his men a shred of doubt,
And each passing feeling he would detain.

He started loosing men at an alarming rate,
And he drew his blade and rallied the boys.
But the enemy had an advantage so large,
It made the master steel look like toys.

The guns were blaring left and right as the tiger stood his ground,
Never surrender he yelled to his men.
And nobody saw that he had shed a few tears
For brothers he would never see again.

The general never backed down and stood his ground,
He screamed that he would fight ''til his last breath.
And he fought with burning desire and passion,
He brought many a Soldier to their death.

And when it came time the tiger knew a showdown would occur,
As the two leader met amidst the fight.
The wolf opposite him unsheathed his own katana,
A true battle that would be quite a sight.

Each great leader was gifted with amazing skill,
They fought each other with tremendous guile.
And the further they got the more the tiger thought,
Soon enough the wolf will show his true style.

The battle went back and forth in a clash of sparks,
And then the wolf took out the tigers feet.
The cheater finally showed his true stripes and colours,
And brought the tiger general to defeat.

The tiger general's men rallied on to win the battle,
And even through death he drove them forward.
His men will always remember him as a friend and a brother,
And a man who truly lived by the sword.

Trance

Trance
Hobbes

Eyes are blind,
Heavy heart.
Ties that bind,
Staggared start.
Trippy feat,
falling down.
Leaders meet,
Traitors drown.

In the dark,
Theres a light.
Hear the lark,
Brave the fight.
Humbleness,
Love is true.
Truly blessed,
Me and you.

Lift me high
On your wings.
We shall fly,
Song bird sings.
Never fall,
Never fear.
If you call,
I shall hear.

You're the one,
Set me free.
Next to none,
Destiny.
Hear my song,
Dare to trust.
Love is strong,
Hope a must.

Together,
It will come.
Forever,
Stops for none.
Passing glance,
perma-smile.
Happy dance,
Pure denial.

Its loves trance,
Take the trial.

Majestic Tiger

Majestic Tiger
Calvin L. Genereux
April 5/2010

Walking step by step,
Endless sand lays everywhere,
Cross the desert plane.

Paws scorched from the heat,
His orange fur lays drenched with sweat,
Panting as he walks.

Exhaustion sets in,
Mirage tricking feeble mind,
Claws set for the hunt.

Pouncing through the air,
Finding nothing but sand hills,
Tireless he hunts.

Staring down the sand,
Iron willed and strong in heart,
Never giving up.

Moisture hangs above,
His emerald eyes glint with glee,
Galloping along.

Crashing through the waves,
Water's found now tiger drinks,
Lapping happily.

Lazily he rests,
Darkness crawls as the sun sets,
Sleep now takes its turn.

Day is at its end,
Sleeping on the cooling sand,
Majestic Tiger.

Captive

Captive
Hobbes

I am a maze,
A living puzzle.
My stripes are cover,
Living camo.
I stay hidden
safe from a world of predators.
Humans who would take my hide,
Skin me and hang it like decor.
Use my skin and fur as a rug,
The intricate patterns of natures beauty,
tarnished below the feet of oppression.

I am hunted,
Value lays in my skin.
Money means everything in this world.
My life is forfeit,
meaningless as long as profit is made.
We mean nothing to them.
My brothers fall,
The lion, the panther, snow Leopard.
Each falls to the human hand.
Each sold off into slavery or murdered.
And for what?

I am alone,
I pace my cage,
Asking questions...
No one answers.
This is my prison,
I must live here and I shall die here.
A spectacle for anyone to view.
I am a show for children to scream at,
For adults to take pictures of,
Flashe and sounds that disturb my sleep,
As I fade away to nothing..
A slave in captivity

Star-Crossed

Star-Crossed
Hobbes Dec 22/09

Two lives that fate and destiny entwined,
Together though circumstance doth protest.
Breaking free of the heavy chains that bind,
Forever, through the worst and through the best.

When things were going neither of their way,
And both had just fun out of luck with love,
The voice of destiny would have its say,
With help and intervention from above.

Approached with open ears and open hearts,
Embraced with care as love came back to light
They found each other and this was the start,
Of true love's embrace wrapping them up tight.

A love so pure, so true, unblemished still,
They tackle life head on with hand in hand.
They take it on with a hope and a will,
As they prepare to take a lovers stand.

We wait so long to find that special one,
The wait is over, their lives have begun.

Just One Kiss

"Just one kiss" he said,
"To show just how I feel.
I promise you can lead,
I shall not take the wheel."
I knew not what to say
To my dear long time friend.
I told him, "I'm not gay,
And not much one to bend."

He gazed in to my eyes,
And whispered oh so sweet.
"I promise you no harm,
Just allow me this treat."
A smile took my face,
I leaned in nice and slow.
He kissed me with such grace,
Such feeling did he show.

He held me tenderly,
My arms draped over him.
A gentle memory,
Always bright, never dim.
I'd never felt so warm,
So happy or so good.
He took my heart by storm,
I never thought he could.

When it was done I smiled,
Wiped a tear from my eye.
He held on for a while,
I never asked him why.

Trinity

Trinity

Divinity, obscenity,
Inferiority complex.
Obey the mighty trinity,
From their rule there's no defect.
Total bliss and serenity,
Through times of peace and war.
They always know the enemy,
And drive them to the floor!

True vanity insanity,
Appearance or reality.
You start a great calamity,
But who you seek is you not me.
Look in the mirror who appears,
No shadow of a doubt.
Reflected are your greatest fears,
That you can't live without.

Democracy, Hypocrisy,
Delusion in the conclusion.
Hide behind the Geography,
Begin to cause mass confusion.
Wandering without direction,
Aimlessly with no cure.
You seek another's protection,
They seek to destroy you.

Monstrosity, Atrocity,
Pretentious Adventurous.
The answer is now lost in me,
So can you suffer such a loss?
Death Defying Disasters Damned,
Devine Division Due.
In traffic when your car gets rammed,
Do you yell out "Screw You"?

Demolishing, Abolishing,
All for the great Mechanicum.
Humans are slowly becoming,
Obsolete as we fall to them.
Machines who rain mass destruction,
Death comes in many ways.
Demise was mankind's construction,
And now we count the days.

Mankind will find we're blind behind,
Our walls of granite stone and brick.
We created the overmind,
Our blindness truely makes me sick.
We can not stand and can not fight,
This crap just makes me sick.
Would someone aid us in our plight,
And could you make it quick?

We will recruit, it's absolute,
Fight machines with the fiery forge.
But in the end our plight is mute,
We lose the war, on blood they gorge.
Our lust for power was our end,
And that thing which we craved.
So now the white flag we must send,
Humanity enslaved.

Slavery most unsavory,
Elemental event.
You would climb up the toughest tree,
And just to circumvent.
Move further away from the light,
To the vicinity.
Do not resist and do not fight,
The Mighty Trinity.

I Am,,,

I Am...
Calvin L. Genereux

I am an infant...
The world around me is full of joys,
Bigger ones like me make funny sounds
And faces to amuse me.
Every moment is an adventure,
I learn colours an words but
Only one thing stands out.
Mommy...
Today she holds my hand as
I take step after step.
I stumble at first but she is there,
She supports me and coos encouragement
As I take baby steps into the world.

I am a child...
The world changes around me now,
I realize that I can't simply
Complain to get my way anymore.
People still make a fuss over me;
Over how handsome I look or
How much I have grown up.
And still once constant remains.
Mom...
Today she holds my hands again as
I step into a new threshold; School.
I sob and plea but she assures me
That everything will be okay
As I take baby steps into the door.

I am a tween...
I hate the label the world gave us,
No longer a child I am often asked
To act my age by those older.
I have learned so much,
Always learning new things from
All of the people around me.
But now only one thing is certain;
Change...
My body changes and I feel new things,
To my friends I am much the same
But at the same time oh so different.
I put on a facade to please them
But never let my true feelings show,
As I step into a web of lies and deception.

I am a teen...
I have experienced many thing,
I've had people die and felt
The crushing pain of loss.
I've learned oh so much,
I have felt true love and
Worked at banishing my greatest enemy;
Fear...
I will be going out on a date tonight,
I really love the person I am going out with
But am afraid to hold his hand in public.
When he kisses me it reassures me,
As I take my first steps out of the closet.

I am a man...
I no longer fear difference or change,
I no longer have to worry about
What other people will think of me.
I have become successful in life,
I am with my true love and have gained
The acceptance of the only person who mattered;
Mother...
Today is my wedding day,
My mom walks me proudly with
Tears in her eyes to the man I love.
The world is not a forgiving place,
We have to learn to get over our fear and live our lives.
As I take a great leap forward with my love.

Book: Shattered Sighs
