In Another Mans Land

In another man’s land

Whom shall we call when we are sick?
In another man’s land,
Who shall feed us when we are hungry?
In another man’s land,
If we are in trouble whom shall we run to?
In another man’s land,
No mother No father No family
Just God and us.
It is not our wish to meander in another man’s land.
Situations placed us in that position on the field of life.
We have become like chicks, should the rain beat us, whose warmth shall dry us if not that of God?
But as men, it’s a battle we live to fight
Each day and it’s worth fighting today.
Sometimes we sedate our confusions and tears,
But we cant avoid them.
In another man’s land, there are mines of uncertainties.
Dear God, keep us safe as we take good care of ourselves.
Help us keep our hopes inflated in another man’s land.
And protect the mouths back home,
That are opened, waiting we drop bread into them. Though we hide the pain to show the smile, we just know it is so in another man’s land..

Battle of Life

The Battle of life

We are all up this morning
Readying for the fight
fighting on different frontlines of life.
We are at war with a thing we can’t see,
Life.
Each one is fighting a different battle.
I might not know your battle and how intense it is.
But I will say, be strong, don’t give up,
When life throws at you its missiles.
Stitch your pain with hopeful smiles.
 Change tactics, keep on fighting.
Stop at nothing.
Persevere,
Even if the situation is severe.
You shall win,
And remember to keep your heart clean.

Dear Friend

DEAR FRIEND
Dear friend,
who thought this friendship, could sink like the Titanic ship? We never saw the end,
but I shall remember you
because your kind is few.
The good times we had
those moments make me glad.
I remember them, when I„m sad.
Forgive me, for all I did bad.

He Once

He Once

He once woke up with hopelessness governing his life
He once woke up feeling dead though alive.
Once, tears were dancing “adowa” on his cheeks
He once blamed God for not getting what he seeks
Once he woke up with nothing his everything.
Once,trauma,pain, and sorrows
Were the only sweets life throws
at him.
Now, hymn,
The songs of joy he now does sing.
he now believes God deals with time,
He just had to be calm.
Well you will think God hates you
If you still wait in the queue
Of time. Now God has planted a hope in his heart,
And waters it with success he never had..

One Day

ONE DAY
one day my role on the stage of life would be done
And the curtain of death would be drawn.
      One day
Time won’t stop to mourn me.
All that would be left of me would be the history of my memories
Where i would be,
I do not know.
     One day
I will bid farewell to this passing world
As you all continue the journey of life.
We all live a life owned by death.
As we live, we do so to pay off death.
    One day
The world won’t even remember the remnants of my name.
The world would be the same
With or without me.
What are we? Just busy ants that march from the cradles of birth
to their eternal homes, their graves.
     One day
There will be a party right next to my corpse,
And there i will understand when we say
humans only show love to what talks and breathes no more.

What Is Love

What is love?

It is the feeling, as light as a mountain.
It is as bright as a shadow.
It is the little thread that holds the world in position.
It is a feeling with joy and smile as its wheels.
Love is the tiny islet that lies in every man’s heart.
It is the heart’s weak strength.
It is the thing that folds hatred
And dissolves evil.
It is the dagger of good and evil.
It is the bridge between God and man
Love is what makes a man weak and strong
Love is the little sunshine in every man’s dark world
It is the fountain of hope
Let us stitch this tattered world with Love

Adamu For All West Akim

Just like the caring tit of nature,
At which every lip feeds.
Adamu is for all.
His kindness has always stood tall.
Kindness is his culture
And his humility is pure.
He has served and will serve well
He is born with the seeds
 Of humble services. His bell
Of services rings loud.
West Akim, it is time to allow,
This service to materialize into giant developments.
It is Time for Adamu,
Now is the moment,
If not him then Who?
Adamu For All
All for Adamu

A View From Space

A VIEW FROM SPACE

I watched the silent earth from space, And found neither boundary nor race. We are but a vulnerable planet.
Then I saw the earth awashed with blood. Earth’s peace plummet.
Thoughts of absolute power and war, flood The minds of leaders.
Peace, love, unity, earth’s pillars
Are falling. Mother earth is drowning
In the ocean of war, destruction is come. The heavens rain not rain on us,
But tears. Darkness is dawning
On us.
Space is calm
We treat mother earth with intentional harm.
We are divided unitedly.
I viewed from space
And we are one people, undoubtedly.
We are vulnerable if asteroids wash us from earth’s surface.
We are free slaves of the universe
And the blessed makers of our own curse.

The Warring Generals of Sudan

The warring Generals of Sudan

Yesterday, they were friends,
Sharing the cake of power together.
“This kind of friendship never ends”
One corpse did whisper.
Today they fight over the cake of power.
Where has their love gone this hour?
Two guns lock horns,
And civilians suffer.
Our piece of peace has torn.
Guns ring the bell
Of peace. We march to hell.
Generals,
Of wars.
Their murals,
Peacefully painted on the walls
Of wars.
