Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
The rain came down as so did the tears
unexpecting what would come after the
following years. So much left unsaid and
so much left to do I kissed your cheek
and said "i love you". We hoped for a
better tomorrow as time stole your soul
you gave me a wink an told me to never
lose control keep my eyes alive in your
heart for that would never die,Empty
thoughts consume my heart and mind
as i try to full fill your hopes and
over power mine.I read your words in
secret pages and the hurt you felt for
so long and your beautiful smile to
hide the words kept hiding are now
forever gone. The room became cold that April day as i watched your beautiful
smile turn to gray. Holding your hand
I felt you speak "Take care of your
self an my heart is yours to keep
remember our laughs,an not so much
the tears, but keep all close as I
will capture your fears". Sweet April
rain never knew the way it would fall
nor did it know it would take you
when it called. You left behind A
memory that would last till the end
and a voice that could reach behind
sin,Strong but stern,happy at times
but angry at most, you kept the promise
of always being close.I believed in
prayer to get us threw. Only one made
it an it was'ent you.You fought for so
long but i had to say goodbye,I promised
i'd never forget the tears of sadness
we cried. The happy times live on in me
and i will see you again some where above
the sea.Still the April rain continues
to fall until i see you again and you
greet me with my name i hear you call.

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Count the stars one by one an put one
in your pocket.
Give it a kiss and name an place it in
a locket.
If your star should ever lose its shine
just give it another kiss an you will
find
that your star will always be near to
keep you strong an to never have a
fear.
If your star should ever loss its
flame
Just give it another kiss and whisper
its name.
If your star should ever get weak just
give it another kiss and a promise you'll
forever keep.
But if the day should ever come that you
forget your stars name
Dont feel bad or feel any shame
Just give it another an you will reacall
that the only name for your star will
always be baby doll

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Empty shadows forever just a memory praying to a grave
seems to be my only key.
The key to the answers I've searched long an hard.
The answers to questions not found on any wall or
any unturned card.
Empty shadows to give no sign of your pain an sorrow
I found out the wrong way when i knew you wouldent
see no tomorrow.
My heart is on fire with the questions of why?
Why did you leave me an why did you have to die?
You left us with a burdened heart an grief to last forever
One day i know we will be together,
but empty shadows forever live in my heart and i will
try to face reality even though we are apart.

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Blinding lights that glue your eyes
shut.
Wanting to see around that corner but,
still standing in that rut.
Swimming threw the quick sand of
your life
seeing no release for happiness
only destruction an strife.
Blinding lights to cloud your
way home
with a roaring song in your head
and memories of being alone.
Can't remember where the road starts
and can't recall who you are
and the only light you have is one
single star.
Blinding lights that burn like
flames in your head.
Remembering all the words that
doctor said.
Hold your head an try to stop
screaming.
Whip off the blood on your hands
"Oh my god are you dreaming"?
Blinding lights have turned into
bleeding lights of hell,running in
terror trying to find a way out of this
burning cell.
Walls are closing in and emotions are
running deep
A heart ache of a memory is all you will
ever keep.

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
I cry in the solitude of my own
four walls.
Threw the blur of tears i hear
agony call.
I see light no more except when
I dream.
I prefer it that way because of
all the hate I've seen.
Innocents lost an consciousness to regain
one just feeds off the other
to welcome in the pain.
Lye on your bed and play your
role.
Try to stop your screaming as chaos
takes control.
Loving the unlovely an wanting the
unloved
Thinking that a gentle hand will
come from above.
You begin to think is this the final
thrill?
because all you see or touch
doesent seem real
Cheapen your emotions and hide
your bruised heart
for the last hour of everything will
be torn apart
The road is not paved and the need is
so great
Unlikly to find a true god in such
a world filled with hate.
Beware that the world is not a fair
place.
And you wear your second mask just to
cover up the lies of your true
face

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Morbid nightmare for the feelings that run wild
inner feelings i kept hiden tightly from the
world as a child.
Desparation on an endless journey but there
is no reality only obsession that i am urning.
Traviling a twisted road that seems impossable
to follow and thinking back on the past has
giving me nothing but greif an sorrow.
The war between coruption an hate pins you
to a chair
You here what those people are whispering
but you choose not to care.
Morbid nightmare your only true escape
but your stuck inbetween a dream that wants
to become your gate.
Sometimes you dont want to wake up hoping
that you might find
A wired shut mouth with a little peice
of mind.
There can be no haven until the final nightmare
so lye on your bed and close your eyes
but always beware.
You have finally enterd yout dream of morbid nightmare
Just be reminded of the knowledge you do not
share.
You come across three small children who have
no need for a protector
so you pss an begin your journey scared of
what you may encounter.
Intemidated by the blackness of the night an
the coldness of your heart
you feel as if your soul is being taken an
torn all apart.
You come across a hill covered by thick sand
and you feel forces full of rage moving like
wraths across the land.
You reach the top and look down only to find
an endless drop to an endless dream
You realize there is no way out so you close
your eyes an begin to scream
searching for a refuge from this unwanting dare
but there is no sanity that awaits for you because
you promised your soul to a morbid nightmare

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
The death toll is rising,another
name added to the list.
you sit back an stare at a grave
with an angry clutched fist.
You'll never know the burden of
love I carried for you an our pictures of yesterday show you never knew.
Your out of arms reach an the answers
buried six feet deep.
But the memories of our friendship
is a treasure I'll forever keep.
The unforgotten soul of yesterday
an the memory of today
You lived one day at a time with
very little to say.You kept the pain
inside and your answers to questions
locked in secrecy.
And you goals for the future will for-
ever remain a mystery.
I'm paralyzed by the silence and
the darkness taken my sight
Trying to uncover the truth about
your life.
I sometimes imagine crawling
towards your arms because I'm to weak
to stand.
The tears are burning my face as
i try to reach your hand.
Awaiting the day to touch your face
and your hand to hold
I'll remember the love and friendship
of the unforgotten soul.

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Solitude confinement an padded walls to
share.
Nothing to build on just a torn down
nightmare
You await to be released from the pain
but one just feeds off the other to
welcome in the pain.
As the days grow longer you realize you
have nothing to gain.
A single light shines over your head,
one uncovered mattress torn an battered
we'll call that your bed.
Your hiding behind all the lies while
staring truth in the face.
Wishing to start over in a better time an
a safer place.
This is your world now,and there is no
where to hide.
So face your duties and forget about the
tears of blood you've cried.
Solitude confinement your only world
for an on coming pain.
Find your own way out before it drives
sanity insane.

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
The walls echo with madness of anger spoke between two
For once i wish to wake up with no memory of you
Torn between two i had to decide, either I win the battle or i would choose to die.
Your voiceechos in my ear of what was to be done
You pushed out my father an your only son
Who would be next in this controlling game for one?
The aging memories over come the present fears
non-exsisting hope of drying the on coming tears
dreams last a mere miniute words last forever
memories are the forgotten past as time forgets never.
Hiding in the room and the walls closing in
I hear you in the background screaming "Let me in"!
Wishing to find him wanting to call i cried in the night for my sanity to crawl
blessed be the child who cries alone
Torn between two for everyday at age twelve she wishes she was grown

Cynthia Gissendanner Poem
Fly over me when you see me fall
run to my side when your name you
hear me call. Not to much to ask for
the sympathy of your hand not to much
to ask for your arms to help me stand
you cared so much for a world you
left behind but i cant seem to smile
at a world so unkind you said you would
never leave me an those words i took
to heart but as the days grow long an
my heart grows cold i can see we will
always be apart
one day for sure we will be together
in a world so perfect we can promise
forever
until that day i hope you can see that
you are the angel i need to fly over me
