Blinding Lights

Blinding lights that glue your eyes shut. Wanting to see around that corner but, still standing in that rut. Swimming threw the quick sand of your life seeing no release for happiness only destruction an strife. Blinding lights to cloud your way home with a roaring song in your head and memories of being alone. Can't remember where the road starts and can't recall who you are and the only light you have is one single star. Blinding lights that burn like flames in your head. Remembering all the words that doctor said. Hold your head an try to stop screaming. Whip off the blood on your hands "Oh my god are you dreaming"? Blinding lights have turned into bleeding lights of hell, running in terror trying to find a way out of this burning cell. Walls are closing in and emotions are running deep A heart ache of a memory is all you will ever keep.
