Butterfly

Caterpillars are a magnificent creature.
You should pay attention a little closer.
A quick look and its not too attractive, nothing you see is
worth your time.
Maybe the caterpillar is scared, maybe they don't know
what to do.
Maybe they don't know whats next or how to handle it.
It is just a caterpillar, right?
Or maybe it's not.
Are you too quick to judge the caterpillar?
Not look closely enough, not give it a chance.
You know caterpillars are a magnificent creature.
If you give them a chance you will see.
It time they will change.
Change from a scared, unsure little caterpillar.
Into a gorgeous, brave, high flying butterfly.

Safe

I am being strangled by the grips of darkness, I can’t breathe, I am suffocating.
It’s a feeling I am used to in a cold lonely world. I’m drowning, the grips of death pulling me further and further under the waves.
It’s a life I am destined to, a life I know.
Stories of love and happiness are just in movies, and in the lives of others around me, they can’t feel the pain I feel.
God has a plan for everyone? Don’t tell me that, who would want someone to suffer so much, unless they had something greater in store for them?
I keep faith in life, keep faith in something greater, and somehow the grip weakens, the waves stop and i am above the water, in a calm ocean.
There’s a feeling in my chest, a feeling i didn’t know was real.
It’s like I have a guardian angel protecting me, an angel who loves me, an angel who would give anything to make me happy.
It scares me to accept this angel, I am not used to this, it’s hard to come into the bright light when you’ve always been surrounded by dark.
But then I hear your voice, and just your voice reassures me that everything will be ok.
It gives me hope, tells my heart to open up, to let the love in, to not be scared, to live my life without worry.
When I had always felt alone, I now know I don’t have to handle this alone, through the light and the dark, my heart is in your hands, and I know it’s safe there.

The End

There was once a holy man. He created the heaven and earth, and all living things. He loved
his creation, loved it more than any person could ever love any other thing. He smiled, his
children meant everything to him. He created them, but he gave them all free will. They
could do whatever they so choose. This turned very sour for this holy man when the
children he loved starting turning on each other, turning on him, and turning his beautiful
creation into a horrible tragedy. He had to fix it, but he knew he had children that would
keep everything the way he intended for it to be. So he saved those children and did away
with the rest. A fresh start, but after this fresh start was finished, the holy man was utterly
upset with himself. How could he destroy what he loved the most? How could he ever do
that? He vowed to never do such a thing again. Now this holy man has not left us, he is still
watching over this beauty of his, but is he? He’s looking down, but not into beauty? This
creation was now a monster. The holy man sees no hope, too many of his children are
hurting, too many of his children turned there back on him, too many of his children have
fallen into the grips of his worst and most evil of enemies. He swore he would never do it
again, but as tears stream down his face the pain is overbearing. “must i do it again? and
this time end it for good?” the holy man looks down with the utmost of sorrow in his eyes.
“Let’s end it all for good, then there will finally be peace.”

Wash Away

From where I sit the ocean is calling.
It is far too beautiful to put into words.
It's so welcoming, calling you in with it's foaming ripples.
What a peaceful way to die.
Why not let the water take you away?
Pull you under, suffocate you, rip the last breathe from
your throat.
Make your heart beat slowly dim until it beats no more.
Life is hard, this death is easy.
As your going under your life flashes before your eyes.
The pain, the loneliness, the fear.
The waves wash it away, wash away the horrible life.
Wash away a life better off not lived.
Wash away the pain, wash away the loneliness, wash
away the fear.
Wash it all away and end it.
End it until a another lonely body takes a look at the
beautiful disaster that can look so perfect and within a
few minutes be the most murderous of all beasts.

Life Is What You Make It

Life is what you make it. If you believe that it is beautiful then it will be beautiful. If you feel
upset about things, things will only upset you more. If you get negative thoughts in your
head, things will only get worse. Be happy with the life you have, you only have one shot at
being happy. There are no second chances at life. You only get one life, make it worthwhile.
Feeling low about something? Take a step outside, take a look at the beauty around you,
think about the people in your life who's lives just wouldn’t be the same without you, think
about everything that is out there. If you reach far enough, what you want might just come
running to you. Never give up, have faith in life.

The Dream

I wake up in a field of dying grass and weeds. This is not where I belong. I run, run, run, away.
Alas, I reach a lovely expanse of long beautiful green grass and colorful flowers blooming
everywhere. Now I just lay down and look up to the sky, savor the beauty and speak to the one
who will always love me. "Lord I thank you from the bottom of my heart, for all of these
treasures you have given me. Thank you for loving me unconditionally, thank you for bringing
me here." I feel that I am not alone and I look up to see the Lord standing before me. How did I
know it was him? I just knew, there was nothing to explain it. He spoke, "Dear child, I didn't
bring you here, it is your destiny, you were always meant to have happiness, beauty, and
serenity in your life." It was the most beautiful voice I had ever heard, and I felt like I couldn't
breathe let alone speak in the presence of the Holy One. "I love you," was all I could stammer
as the beams of sunlight carried him away from me. Did I imagine that? As the alarm buzzed in
my ear I realized that it was all a dream. As I sat up in bed I looked up and spoke, "I never
realized that the gorgeous field of colors was what my life was made of. I'de been suffocating in
the weeds for so long that I didn't notice what was right in front of me. Thank you and I love
you."
