Kenn Hubbs Poem
Close your eyes and I shall take you there
A summer’s day with restless care
Standing at the waters break
Holding hands as we walked along the wake
Feel the mist as it touched our face
Remembrance of such a peaceful place
Ocean breeze blowing through your hair
Children’s laughing fills the air
Listen to the waves as they crash the shore
Watching fisherman out upon the wharf
See the lighthouse out in the night
Lending its guidance and safeties sight
Now open your eyes from our memories there
Keeping always the love we shared
Yes this was our summers breech
Always with you for many days to keep

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Jessica Lynn, this name we sat and often wondered upon to which we should give you.
Its status of great popularity, Adding my own mothers name of venue.
Your day of birth had come with much excitement in the air.
A first born child to me, A cherished joy for all my family to share.
Thru out your days of growing, You would draw so may laughs.
From your charming personality, To those days you often imitated your big pap.
Animals seemed to adore you, Cats, Dogs, Horses, Rabbits and Hamsters you have owned.
Many times you talked of being a veterinarian. So these animals always had a safe home.
A nurturing personality I have always seen.
That mothering sense around the young ones A caring protector you seemed to be.
Now your growing older your teen years you have become.
So many things have changed around you, Just remember you are still young.
If there is one thing I can pass down to you, Advice that was given to me.
Life is what you make it, hard work will define your destiny.
It’s not always going to be easy, And you must work hard toward those goals You wish to
achieve.
With a little parental guidance, further your education, Then your goals wont be as far away
as they may have seemed.
Love Dad

Kenn Hubbs Poem
I go through life and gently I weep
Searching for you with nights endless sleep
Staring so, towards heavens lit skies
Hoping, I’m praying give me a sign
Can you be out there this one that I cherish?
So loving, yet kind, honest, and caring
I have been to earths ends and come so near
Looking, I keep looking, you do not exist I do fear.
Hopelessly I feel all this was for not
There is no one out there, after all I have sought
Yet I do go out once again, and with these words I do say
If you are waiting out there please don’t turn away
For gently I weep for this happiness I seek
To love you and hold you, I would lye roses at your feet
So take these words and keep them in your heart
For one day I shall find you and then our lives may start.

Kenn Hubbs Poem
If I held you tight within my arms, would you always hold me back?
If I would walked with you just to listen, are you willing to listen back?
If I would love you unconditionally, would you always love me back?
If I would take your hand in mine and look into your eyes and whisper the words “I have
always loved you”, would you be able to say it back?
No one has proven they are perfect; we are all flawed in our own way,
But then someone comes along and they leave a certain memory one you don’t want to ever
fade.
Love is a strange and wonderful feeling; it’s a passion you share from the very start.
But the true test of love is not only to receive but to give as well, theses feelings from the
heart.

Kenn Hubbs Poem
The preacher or the piper, the hand gives way to fist
Feelings of great discontentment, the anger one can’t resist
Always been a watcher from distance I have seen
Mistrust and forsaken honor, broken hearts and shattered dreams
To hold onto such misfortune I do not know why this is to be
Not wanting to let go, why it is some choose to live with their own misery
What once was wrong, can be made right if you open your eyes and see
Someone is out there for all of us, to offer joy and love forever endlessly
To all those who have given up, I offer my words of hope
Love is a feeling never ending, never let die, never let go

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Unto I wonder this summer’s quaint eve,
Graced upon my presence,
I’m brought down unto my knees.
Reaching out into ones heavenly light,
Reaching with my out stretched hands,
I call unto you bring me some sight.
Hopelessly I have fallen and say never again,
I have come round full circle,
Oh yet once again.
Why does this happen again and again,
Why does this happen I scream,
Why to those who have loved to the end.
Why do you not answer, these prayers that I speak?
Always searching for more,
My body is feeling hopeless and meek.
Weak as I rise, sensing all that I have feared
Crying out to you feeling lost,
My words have all but fallen upon deaf ears.
Why does this happen I cry out to you once again,
Turning away tears fill my eyes,
The pain I feel with no happiness in the end.

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Raise your tired head and touch the fading sky,
The summers last orange glow,
Behold with your wondering eyes.
Soon the leaves will turn and the season will pass,
Winter will arrive, so I say loudly,
Tip heavy your sharing glass.
Grow with me as I watch over you so tightly,
Blowing softly into your flowing hair,
I’ll kiss you oh ever so slightly.
You’ll turn to me with such love within your eyes
Looking after you never we do not fade,
Never do we lose sight.
Yes summer is gone and fall is yet so near,
Soon the snow will be ever so great,
Our white blanket of trust,
Sheet of our faith cover us.
Heavens white cape.

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Is it not happiness we search for in life?
Finding another we go on looking forever,
Just for a moment to touch you in some way.
Not knowing where life’s journeys may end,
Often I have sought laughter then and again.
To comfort and feel whole, wanting to feel you oh so near.
Blinded by fear I have reached my roads final last stop,
Happiness played against sadness I’m not so sure what I am not.
Yet we always set out on these journeys of trend,
Aimlessly we seem to wonder not sure if there is an answer to all of this at the end

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Night after night I still cry
These shallow tears fill my sleepless eyes
The passion we shared, our love was so strong
Why did you leave me, now forever you’re gone?

Kenn Hubbs Poem
Drowning in my sorrow, the pain I can not withstand
Time they say is borrowed, for death I do not understand
Render repentance for my sins, make good on promises said
Purity of the heart, now prepare my final bed
The beast within cannot be tamed, it's consumed me as a whole
Its venom spreading through my veins, God please help me,
Lay mercy on my soul
