Gently I Weep

I go through life and gently I weep
Searching for you with nights endless sleep
Staring so, towards heavens lit skies
Hoping, I’m praying give me a sign

Can you be out there this one that I cherish?
So loving, yet kind, honest, and caring
I have been to earths ends and come so near
Looking, I keep looking, you do not exist I do fear.

Hopelessly I feel all this was for not
There is no one out there, after all I have sought
Yet I do go out once again, and with these words I do say
If you are waiting out there please don’t turn away

For gently I weep for this happiness I seek
To love you and hold you, I would lye roses at your feet
So take these words and keep them in your heart
For one day I shall find you and then our lives may start.
