My Right To Live

My Right to live

I didn't ask to be born and bred
Or be called the evil names you've said.

Every time I see other children happily play with their friends,
I forever wonder if my living nightmare will end.

Because of you I'll go hungry again today,
Because once again you spent your whole pay.

Your actions and words speak loud and clear,
My love for you, I've replaced it with fear.

You've used me for my God given right,
You hoped I would die, but I chose to fight.

There's no love in your expressionless face,
All because I joined the human race.

I hate when your day gets a little bit tough,
Because I know that night, mine will become rough.

I didn't ask you to put those things up your arm,
I never once gave you my permission to harm.

I often sit alone and ask myself why am I so sad,
Until I realise: the guy in the mirror is your punching bag.

Often I am afraid to speak, afraid to upset you,
Not knowing what to me you would do.

I cry myself to sleep every night,
Always wondering what I didn't do right.

I try and try with every beat of my little heart to be strong,
Asking God what it was that I've done so wrong.

I wish one day, you could open your heart and your eyes,
See your child who once loved you, silently sit and cry.

I try to remember the last time I smiled,
Unaware that this is no life for a child.

I'm getting used to being pulled by my hair and my ear,
I'm so sorry to disappoint you, that I am still here.

Love and protection is the only thing I hoped you would give,
But it saddens me to know that this isn't my right to live.

So I'm going to sleep and a heartfelt prayer I shall say:
Please dear God, let your angels forever take me away.

You can then keep pretending you've always done your best.
While my weary body, closed eyes, at peace, finally may rest.

My Beautiful Angel

My Beautiful Angel

You always said you'll be right by my side,
U always told me to reveal my true self, and to never hide
I try n try to always to forever be strong
Why aren't you here, why have to heaven that you have gone

I pray to god, to check if your alright
I pray and hope that your star for ever to shine so bright
I pray, for just a moment that your never alone
I pray for God to give u that heavenly phone
Just for once that you could call home.

I need to hear your voice
just one more time
Just to know, that u don't hurt no more
And to finally ease my mind
I seen the pain, that you've spoken of
Ive got it right here
for its forever in my heart

Why did you have to leave
Why did you have to become an Angel
And say that you have to watch over me,
Id rather u be, right here by my side
so my tears, you can wipe away, that I can no longer hide

Tears flow, thinking of you
My heart aches, because Im so much missing you,
Knowing that God had to take you away
and make us cry, all because he needed his chosen Angel by his side.

Goodbye My Love

That very first time that we met, I thought that I've met my match, I thought that this is it.

Walking towards me, as we locked eyes,
your messages and pictures weren't telling no lies.
The way that you grabbed my hand, and pulled me in close, feeling your breath battling with mine,
as our lips finally touched, I believed that we honestly stopped time.
Our first emotional embrace, caught me off guard,
try as I may, I knew I was going to fall hard.

When you were holding my hands, your affections on public display,
made me feel a love that was never going to be felt like that ever again.
I'd be walking, and doing a bit of window shopping,
I'd glance at you and I'd catch you often...
staring at me, with a smile that you could not hide,
gave me a love, that could never be denied.

A feeling of utter disbelief, that a woman as beautiful as you is in love with me. You made me feel on top of the world, just as powerful as superman, an invincibility that would forever stand so proud.

Feeling what we felt, knowing nothing between us could ever go wrong... Knowing that our love was going to be strong.
My feelings for you, I knew I could not deny.
A true love, that would never lie.
Then came the day when you became ill.
Every day, I'd tell you I'd forever love you still.
We went on our last, evening walk, along the beach,
watching as the sun and ocean would meet.
I laid back, with you in arms,
knowing I'd forever, never let you be harmed.
I ran a finger, slowly across your face,
wishing I could forever, hold you in this embrace.
You turned your head, and whispered my name,
saying how much, you're in love with your man.
You kissed me slightly, as you softly squeezed my hands,
closing your eyes, as your hands gently hit the sand.
My heart beats faster, as tears starts to build in my eyes.
Thanking God that I met you, and that your heart was mine.
As I hold you, so very tight by the sea,
wishing I could tell you one more time just how much you meant to me

When Your Alone

When your alone
You tend to hide your fears,
Not knowing that help is always near.

Worrying about,
What comes next
Always thinking...what the heck.

Your feeling down, and all alone.

Your dark feelings, that we all know.

Those thoughts, that you try to hide

Slowly and silently, they creep inside.

Leaving you sitting alone, you start to cry.

Your thinking hard,
About what you can do.

What is waiting,
the darkness that may over come you.

You think that you've finally, reached your end.

Waiting for that Angel,
That Heaven will send

But he ain't coming, just right now

We will help you to live,
For we will show you how.

Reach right in and pull your happiness out to show

That life's worth living,
And it's happening right now.

Your worth in this world,
Is a remarkable place

For it is marked, just for you

Don't be in a hurry, as life ain't no race.

For your beauty will shine,
And show the world your beautiful smile, that lies upon your face.

Your worth is worth showing,
Those that are near and dearest to you.

But you have to dig inside and to bring it out,
That courage that you seek, have a look, cause it lies within you
