Moving On

"Moving On"

Yes, I have moved on from that two years ago,
The days before he thought of letting me go,
Brilliant eyes, sunshine smile that suits him so well,
How cute his laughter is, it's so hard to tell.

Yes, I have moved on from that two years ago,
The silly things I did for him, and how I dear him so,
But he wanted a girl that I could never be,
He searched for a lover, but sadly that's not me.

The deeper I think of you, the harder it gets,
They're still in my heart, I wasn't over yet,
Said I have moved on from that two years ago,
But it's so hard to pretend, I can't go on, and I know.

28th of April

It was a summer night in April
A shameful, exhausting game
But everything felt like daffodils
When I heard you call my name.

I'm patiently looking for someone
Who's more on the cool and serious side
You are a person with so much fun
But what is this smile that I can't hide?

I know I hated you in that moment
There's just something off about you
A friend said you're pretty decent
But you know? I can't see it too.

But not until I finally saw you as a man
My heart's thumping, it was so loud
The very moment that you held my hand
And walked with me amidst the crowd.

Is it because of your hair?
Or started with your smile?
No, maybe because of how you stare
That I can't forget for a while.

I know that this feeling might be bizarre
But you're the moon in my skies
'Coz no matter how sparkling the stars are
Only you can stand out in my eyes.

Why did I wish for a beautiful goodbye
If it wasn't a night to remember
Why would I think about you at night
If my feelings don't really matter.

But wait, I'm still confused
Why am I stuck in here?
Is it your presence that made me lose
My ego and all my fears?

But whatever the reason is,
I know I'm drawn into you
And what I hope this day is at least
There will be somehow, a "Part Two"?

My heart tells me it feels so right
Even I know it won't last forever
And ohh, 'coz it got me hours to realize
That I'm falling in love... with a stranger.
