Memories

How you got in so deep I may never know,
If you ever really liked me you wouldn't let it show.
I thought that you here with me was destiny,
Would never have guessed my love for you would make you flee.
When I was with you I didn't feel alone,
But as it turns our your heart was hard as stone.

There you are, off with someone new,
While I'm here drowning myself in memories of you.
I should have known better than to let you in,
But if I hadn't were would we have been?
My feelings for you was deep and true,
Thats what sent you into the arms of someone new.

I should have know to stay gaurded,
But why did you have to be so cold hearted?
You said you never wanted it to end cause I was perfect in ever way,
Who were you really saying that to every single day?
If you really didn't want me, why did you pretend,
Instead of dragging out, why it had to end?

Life

Life is crule
It preys on the weak
Only the strong will survive.
Rise up all those who are weary
It's time for you to shine
We can take control of this life
We can rise above adversity.
Ban together one and all
There is strength in numbers to defeat the lies of life.

Love Is a Four Letter Word

Love is a four letter word so often said,
So I've hid mine under the bed.

One day you swooped in and stole my heart,
You taught me about life and art.

It seemed like I was falling for you,
The things I felt was all brand new.

So I took my love from under my bed,
And the four letter word was the first thing you said.

Now our love has a rhythem no one can deny,
I love to catch you with that twinkle in your eye.

Love is a four letter word so often said,
Mine can be found in the palm of your hand.

Letting Go

Trying to fit in and be something that your not,
Isn't worth the fight, it isn't worth the cost.
Losing yourself just to be loved, just to feel wanted,
Is that a price you are willing to pay?
Honesty isn't important when your trying to fit in cause it's better than standing out.
Change who you are so others will think your cool,
but you know in your heart these thing you would never do.
Consider new ways of thinking so people don't think your weird,
Lose yourself in a thought or music that isn't you.
This is what I used to do just to be like you.

Hatred

Heart on my sleeve and tears in my eyes,
I see you from my rear veiw waving goodbye.
Once charming you were which love hath lost,
I could still have you but at what cost?
Can't help but feel like a part of me is missing,
But all you could do was stand there and diss me.
You were my best friend but you took that away,
I don't know why I even wanted you to stay.
You ripped out my heart and threw it on the floor,
You stepped on it then kicked me out the door.
Why I can't stop thinking about you I don't know,
All I know is how I loved you so.
It will be four months nearly to the day,
What I want to know is why you had to go that way?
She stole you from me and I don't know why,
The way you treated me and lied to me made me cry.
So many feelings and so much hate,
Now she is the one with a cheater for a date.
I hope that what comes around goes around in your case,
Never again do I want to see your face!

You say you can't believe in what you can't see,
So you couldn't possibly believe in me.
Well since you can't see love,
Don't you know it's from above?
You can't see the wind 
but you can feel it shake and bend.
You say you can't believe in what you can't see,
But you believe in the unseen things all around,
So why can't you believe in me?

I Am From

I am from where heartache hides in shaddows,
From lonliness that seems to be my only comfort.
I am from where getting close to someone gets you hurt,
From where all the events in my life make me feel like dirt.
I am from wehre my pain is hard to hide,
From looking into anothers face and knowing what I'll find.

I am from a troubled past that always seems to haunt me,
From dreams and nightmares that always taunt me.
I am from a family that tells me its ok,
From a place where the people I love always walk away.
I am from a life that doesn't seem so bad,
From thoughts of why the universe wants to see me sad.

I am from a darkness that cuts me to the core,
From a place where people always kick me to the floor.
I am from a trusting background, but I won't trust no more,
From people who I thought I trusted walked right out the door.
I am from where everything gets better with time,
From where falling in love isn't a crime.

Reflection

Mirror I am staring but I don't know what I see
Trying to figure out who I am
But I don't recogniaze the stranger I'm looking at
A stranger in my reflection looing back at me.

Mirror I am staring but I don't believe what I see
I used to be happy, I used to be fun
I can't imagin how I became this
A stranger in my relfection looking back at me.

Mirror I amstaring but I just don't see
The girl I want to be, is she in reach?
Could I get to her with the touch of a hand cause
The girl in my reflection, well she isn't me.

A Sweet Dream

Prince Charming if your out there hear my plea,
I want you to be strong and bold.
Come to me in a perfect fantasy,
HURRY!!! I continue to get cold.

True loves first kiss will awaken me,
Snow White and Sleeping Beauty already know the hype.
Your brilliant smile and dark locks of hair is all I want to see,
Oh Charming how I know your just the type.

I'm trapped in the misery of my desire,
You finally found me, I've awakened from my sleep.
I know our love will soar ever higher,
With this kiss of passion our love grows deep.

Empty Thoughts

Putting my pen to paper
thoughts have gone array
wondering what to make of this?
Ignorance is bliss
Going one step forward and two steps back
Thinking back to your verbal attack.
I slap on a smile hiding the pain
Knowing in my heart your the one who's insane.
Hating what your doing, loving who you are,
In my universe your still a shining star.
Love is blind and so was I
That doesn't give you a reason to make me cry.
What am I 'spoused to do with this?
Ignorance is bliss
Putting my heart out there 
For what a giant tare?
I'm glad I didn't know 
Untill you decided not to show.
