The Poet's Fate

Yesterday, I felt agony like no other.
Driving away my conscious farther.
With every moment passed, I thought
My life has come to a stop.

To the old gods that I prayed
To be free of this fate. As my
Stomach bled out crimson,
The gods chose to change my fate.

Let there be another poet, they said.
Let another bleed the horrors of her heart.

Not on the carpet but on parchment.
The way though same, through liquid,
Through pain, through agony and so they
Dragged my name away from the grave.

The Song of Achilles

The sun sets along with my heart,
On that fiery horizon of earth,
Bright like the fire in my hearth.
The fire led to the imminent birth

Of my rage that burned along
With your corpse, with prolonged
Desire to rip out his heart, The one
Who maimed you unrecognisable.

And if I die to avenge
My cherished downfall, Let
My ashes be mixed with his
And buried below a tomb of black.

The Last Dance

Eyes like sunrise and a heart of gold
Woven together into that beautiful soul.
Waltzing together in this room of old
Fates and melting into this endless glow.

Falling through this enchanted flow, like rivers.
Sand clocks trapped in an endless loop of time,
Dancing to a far-away chime.

Ever after, it seemed, But it broke
As soon as the song ceased,
The hearts broken with the glass,
Yet, still holding onto the memories of past.

Life of a Student

The fallen leaves and the stormy clouds.
The countdown of the trial comes down.
Desperate flicks of pages isn't enough
To become an well-known noun.

Trial after trial makes us more than a little tired.
The snide remarks of blurry strangers that never really tire.
The burden of six or more subjects fall on us all.
Our hard work, we hope, would never let us fall.

This never ending race seems to never calm down.
Even if it does, it is followed by a storm.
A path to peace is all we seek,
Through this hectic storm and to feel at ease

With our grades and to go back home,
Without contempt and to let our minds roam
Through the clouds, for just a minute.
And enjoy because the sky is the limit.

Catherine

The lower staircase from which I stumble,
The higher staircase of hope that crumble.
The letter of destiny that I hold,
The colour of mourning that I wore.

The fleeting glances that I stole,
To be known and to be bold.
As the sky pours, shedding it's tears
I stood there watching my hopes disappear.

Down that old town road, with garlands
Of roses too rotten to hold.
'Catherine', 'Catherine' they called me,
But they never found my body.

Eternal Silence

A line drawn between two kingdoms, A heart torn between two loves, A body worn out after a war. Everafter, just a word but the Fate Of Love told otherwise. The prophecy once fulfilled, The fire once burned, The walls once stood, A heart in middle of it all, A crown once borrowed, A title once given. The beginning and the end. A story forgotten along with the magic that wrote it. As the words cut through the night like a graceful swing of a sword, Cutting through the listener's heart, chamber by chamber, through war by war. Thought one may laugh or fall apart, like the world in front of those Ruby orbs, But beware of the curse that tags along, with armies of bones armed with thorns. It may ruin your life if you give it a chance, while it decives you with gold and charms. Be cautious and alarmed, for the world has lost its sound.

Zombie Apocalypse

The old bell chimes at four,
A sound no one could ignore.
The dead rise and the sky falls,
The pouring rain washing it all.
For this world is at the mercy of it's sins,
As death invites itself in.

Fate, oh my fate, hid me from this end.
Fate, oh my fate, let the world bend and break.
As a sword staked through the heart of an empty shell,
Left with only hunger and hell.

The survivers scorn through the roads
Near the Thames river,
Splashing as the old souls shiver.
The world in a war between life and death,
As it watches them take in their last breath.

A Thousand Years

My past hides like a shadow from me.
My past hides like a shadow from me
As I pass through this hallway of time.
The open doors of my memories
Lead to nothing but thine eyes.
Those sparkling ruby orbs
That never match well with mine.
The distant voice of honey that robs
My heart and my thoughts
For tens and thousands of years.
Through music this dance may have begun
But now I'm too old to recall the rhythm.
As I forget the warmth of thine arms
My body fails to react to the sound of your name.
This strange feeling of unfamiliarity
wraps it's claws around my neck and chokes me.
As I struggle to find your voice
Within this hellsite of memories.

Writer's Block

It's a kind of hunger that's never-ending. It follows you around and it leeches off your soul. And in that moment, All you can think of is getting ink on your hands. Setting your soul free from the cage of everything that did not matter. And once when everything is done, All you could ever do is sit and stare at the parchment wondering, wondering and wondering...
Why can't you think of these words?, Why can't your mind be inspired?,
And everything you've ever thought of just shatters in front of you. The image of it fading into the horizon and blurring like a long forgotten dream. And nothing you could think of, nothing you could say, nothing you could feel could ever be inscribed on that parchment. And you just sit there with your mind as blank as that parchment. Your heart slowly fading into dust. All you could ever do is sit and stare at the parchment wondering, wondering and wondering...
