A Deal In the Dark

Once my life had been led astray
To the old tombs of gray,
As a wee little one called my name,
In a haunted cave that grant my fame,

Fortunes that cannot be named
Along with spirits that cannot be tamed.
In that haunted tomb of what's his name?
My life had been led astray.

Corruption and conceit became my last name,
Abundant pain was my only real claim.
After that trip to the forest, I knew
It was not heaven but hell I was bound to.

Beautifully penned, Shivani. Yet awareness self-aware, can wake up from the nightmare
