Steps

Took 5 steps forward only to be brought back 4, and here I go wanting more.
The promises to the myself now broken as you laid there beside me still spewing hate and revenge. Call and then saying your gone again.
Trained my pain to go away on a snap of a finger, but it still lingered..
Time goes by still on the thoughts of where’d you go again..
Replaying the very last bitter moments, closing stories and folding.
Proceeding differently, repeating history, and again to my misery; 4 steps back..
Taking steps forward ensuring the torture is now over.. steps…

Success

Success

Short notice, but nevertheless focused.
Discouraged from all parts that reinvented me
Threw it away due to the detrimental pain and torture of the brain.
Here I was faced with a challenge couldn’t believe in myself.
Picked at the parts that create me
The parts that ate at me
Due to guilt left behind as I’m reminded back to the time, that moment
June 3rd, just wanted the success but yet holding onto discouragement
Wanting to be my best
Forgetting the rest
Using downplays and praises as my way through this phase.
God help me, bringing me to my knees 1 night before my biggest plead..
There and now I succeed.

Forever

Notes filled with words that can fill a room, but will they ever get to you?
So raw with an open heart letting it heal before another start
Some days it’s okay, some days it’s not but the best thing I did was stop falling apart
Sunken world for the love words used to abuse and accuse
Never for a second did I ever believe we couldn’t make it through.
Did I assume?
Assume that you’d be forever but they always say nothing lasts forever.

King In My Story

You wanted to be the savior in my story, the healer, the King.
The way I looked into you, full of mystery, but eager to fulfill the void I saw through you.
It was the dance with the unknown, intrigued
Intriguing you.. seeing thru but not understanding … not reading in between, but ignoring everything I was seeing.
Seeing the red but still laying in bed beside you
Hiding behind what I felt was love but an unhealthy connection
With unclear conversations
Unknowns, mysteries, and still misreading the voids.
Not the king.
Not the savior.
Not the healer.
To be discarded and unrewarded left with big disappointments
How can you hurt the lover - it wasn’t me.
I was just the filler. The filler to your mystery.
The filler to your void. The void of you using me to find you, the void to recreate you at the expense of me.. you, The king in my story.

Conquered and Departed

You came you conquered, tearing foundations from the ground up. Up went fictitious buildings with hollow fronts easily to be exploited again. The time it took to accept what was, what could have been was just another ended love story. It wasn’t enough to rekindle flames. Wasn’t enough to build a better story with closing chapters and opening narratives.
Our intentions remained impure, tainted with lust and distrust. Never willing to just focus on us…
Giving and giving but yet still unfulfilling..
As walls torn down and heart surrounded by stonewalls..
Conquered .. As you departed…

Unexpected

Unexpected
There, she is..
Opened without uncertainty
Unsettled by how true this can be
Rattled by the ground that shakes
All these snakes
Sucked into what is fake
Sit and listen
For there is truth in every hiss
Mends and parts
She decided on a new start
Electric, easily blended
Who sent him?
Him, all parts opened
Unsure and still devoted.

History

We created a misery
Spoke vile filled of bile
Just to be divided by the delivery
Here we are year to date
Forget the fate. We dissipate.
Happier than ever, no longer together
For this I found passion and love in silence
No longer afraid of the violence
Snow to summer
I became one, a lover.

Lessons

“Lessons the valuable dialogue we use to guide us through times in which we don’t have the answers.
Let me start off by saying my heart is full and pain subsided with deep holes that can fill the ground in which we stand on. No longer filled with resentment or voids as time has healed those wounds and created a new journey with love and fulfillment. Although pained by all that I’ve lost I’ve found a way into my imaginative world and pursue the dreams with more happiness. That uncertainty I felt then is no longer felt as we recreate our journey through better memories and reinvent our path. The hate I once felt has turned to joy. The love I did have is now a refocus on myself. The gains that I’ve received only from the blessings above which hands and knees could not reach. For that I am grateful for every experience leading me to this point in which strength of the mind and a third eye can see ever so clearly through the darkness. The darkness that once attracted where a light- MY light dimmed. I found clarity and my brightness from within. Asking “God let me be more honest. God let me be more raw.” This became a testament to my words becoming law. This became the moment where I found peace without saying my piece.”

Blocked

Writing about you came easily
The only way I found peace
Truthfully, in a block and unknown how to break it
Desired to write, but looking for the perfect plot
Yet, stuck in stance
Pushed limits with the help of him
Grateful for the insight shined in.
Discouraged, through me
Encouraged by friend
Never thought I’ll be at the end
End of the tragic downfall, beginning of a perfect slow song
Uplifted, and damn I am gifted
Gifted
Wish it didn’t take this long to feel existed
Listened
Listened by words reaching ears and allowing those to express their cheers and fears
Opening minds - mental signs
Chemistry
Not physically but mentally
Mentally opening minds
…no longer blocked..

End Game

Countless pages of heartbreak and balancing wages
I’m tired of waiting ages and writing about my blues.
Cuz all I thought about, was you…
Putting a pen to paper
Re-reading words that faded.
Because what I want is love destined for greatness.
Love shared and exchanges, fair
With like minds and passionate chemistry
Without toying, put me down; pick me up
Taking time because there’s no rush…
Just a love language of physical touch, and romance
Let’s jam to this song and slow dance..
Even when you miss a beat
I know that even in failed plans we still meet..
With like minded souls, you feel me?
Despite past loss and pain
Just know we ain’t the same
‘Cuz this time I’m going insane & blowing your brain
Allowing you to be my release with less pain.
With your love creating an extended name.
