Jesus Hears Your Tears

No one hears your tears , you say
Well, I’m here with the Good News
To bring your way

I know a man who wiped my tears
His name is Jesus
He knows and he cares

Jesus feels the tears that we cry
He has compassion in his heart for you, that is why
And he has mercy, it's new every day
Give him your tears, he listens to you

Bring him your troubles, your tears and your fears
He has the power to wipe them clear
He’s been there before us, he knows how we feel
So talk to the Lord, he hears your tears

My Sister, My Friend

God made a special person
The day He made You
He reached right down from heaven
And put His smile on your face

When he made this special person
He put kindness in her heart
Because she shows her love
Even though we're miles apart

When he made this special person
He put her in my family
Not only to be my sister
But to be a friend to me

Teach Me To Slow Down

Teach me to slow down, Lord
As I travel this narrow road
Help me to pay attention
To the blessings you bestow

Your mercies are tender
And new every day
I really don't deserve these blessings
But You give them anyway

Thank You for my family
They mean so much to me
The church You gave me to attend
And a work for me to do

Help me notice the little things
Like the smile on another's face
And the kind words I hear
When I'm having a bad day.

Help me to be thankful for what I have
And not to look at what I don't
Please teach me to slow down, Lord
As I travel this narrow road!

Seasons of Life

When I was a child, I played and I romped
Went to school, did things kids do
I was a tomboy, played cowboys and such
This season of life, I loved so much

When I became a pre-teen, things changed for me
Somestimes life isn’t fair, you see
There were hard lessons to learn, its true
I found I was going to be hurt in this world
This season of life was hard on this girl

Then I grew to be a young lady of sixteen
I met the man of my dreams, he is the one God gave to me
He asked me to marry, and this I did
This season of life was a really good thing

Then we had three sons, each a year apart
This thrilled my soul right from the start
I wanted to be the mother they need
This season of life was scary to me

As I grew older and the years flew by
I knew something was missing in this life of mine
I had all I needed, or so I thought
In this season of life, I learned I was lost
And I learned that freedom came with a cost

My Savior died on the cross for me
He forgave my sins and set me free
He made me a new creature, and so you see
This of life is eternal for me!

The Pretty Girl and the Knight

Pretty Girl is what he's called me
From almost the first day we met
My knight is shining armor , he was
He still is, til this day yet!

We've been through the valley's
Been on the mountain top high
Watched our children become fine men
And we know the reason why

Through sickness and health
Through poverty and wealth
Our Lord has always provided

In all of these years
Through happiness and tears
Our Lord has dispelled all our fears

As we grow old together
We can face any kind of weather
Because of His mercy, love, and grace
We can together run this race!

Beyond Heavens Gates

Where my precious Savior is
There is a place prepared for me
Not made with human hands

It's a place of no sorrow
No tears will ever come
Its a place of no sickness
No pain forevermore

The sun will not shine there
For Jesus is the Light
No darkness, no evil
Only goodness will abide

I'll be with my loved ones
Who have gone on before
They are waiting for my coming
Over on that fair new shore

Most of all I'll see my Jesus
Who saved me by His grace
He's waiting by my Father's side
To greet me face to face

Every Second We Wait

Jesus came to die for our sins
So we wouldn’t have to pay for them
We need to show our families what he can do
In this life and the next one too

Every second we wait, we’re taking the chance
They could die in their sin, not have a next breath
Or they may die in their sleep, no time to repent
Every second we wait is already spent

To be forgiven, we all have the need
Lets don’t let our families down, lets show them the way
Our husbands, our children, and our grandkids too
They all need the Savior, they all need the truth

No reason to wait, Jesus died for their sins
Times getting short, the Lords coming soon
Show them what Jesus can do in your life
So they will want him to give them new life

This poem is not written to judge anyone
It comes from my heart and the Lord above
Make a difference so that they may see
So in the next life the circles complete
