Every Second We Wait

Jesus came to die for our sins So we wouldn’t have to pay for them We need to show our families what he can do In this life and the next one too Every second we wait, we’re taking the chance They could die in their sin, not have a next breath Or they may die in their sleep, no time to repent Every second we wait is already spent To be forgiven, we all have the need Lets don’t let our families down, lets show them the way Our husbands, our children, and our grandkids too They all need the Savior, they all need the truth No reason to wait, Jesus died for their sins Times getting short, the Lords coming soon Show them what Jesus can do in your life So they will want him to give them new life This poem is not written to judge anyone It comes from my heart and the Lord above Make a difference so that they may see So in the next life the circles complete ©written in Jesus name by: Mrs. Geraldine Rose 3/30/09
