Bob Tyler Poem
The coat of many colors
Was a story I was told
About a young boy named Joseph
Who for jealousy was sold
Into slavery by his brothers
And brought to a distant land
Where pyramids and idols stood
In a land of palms and sand
The years he spent were lonely ones
Away from Jacob’s tent
Not knowing it was in God’s plan
To Egypt he be sent
To save the whole world from a drought
And the famine that would be
And bring his family to the land
To fulfill the prophecy
Four hundred years the Israelites
Would serve on Egyptian soil
Until a man named Moses came
And freed them from their toil
Because of a coat of many colors
That Jacob gave his son
The freedom of God’s people
By faith was finally won
Now you may think that this tale
Ended thousands of years ago
But here’s one thing that I think
That all of you should know
You never know the purposes
God has in each our lives
He doesn’t tell us everything
And many things he hides
Until we go through the trial
We only see in part
When coming out the other side
It’s then we see God’s heart.

Bob Tyler Poem
Wind and Fire
Have you ever heard the story
About the day of Pentecost
When God sent down His Glory
To bring conviction to the lost
Men gathered in an upper room
All praying in one accord
For Jesus promised that He’d soon
Send the Spirit of the Lord
Suddenly came a mighty sound
Of wind and tongues of flame
The Holy Spirit had come down
To make man His domain
The promise is for everyone
As many as God will call
On all that ask of Christ the Son
Will God’s Wind and Fire fall

Bob Tyler Poem
Years ago when I was young
I began my searching for someone
A kind, sweet and lovely girl
Then one night I found a pearl
A chance encounter, nothing planned
But maybe not, was it God’s hand
That drew me there that special night
To find a love to share my life,
My hopes, my dreams to be my friend
And bring my searching to an end
To share the good times and the bad
The happy moments and the sad
Throughout the years I’ve come to see
That God had destined you for me
This day I vow my love to give
To you as long as I shall live
And cherish you with all my heart
Til from this earth I shall depart

Bob Tyler Poem
Do you know the God of Abraham
El Elyon, the great I Am
He’s called Yahshua and he can save
The spoils of Egypt Pharaoh gave
By El Shaddai he’s know to some
The nurturing God, the tender one
David’s precious Yah of Psalm
Of Gilead the Healing Balm
The Rose of Sharon wont depart
If you let this rose grow in your heart
The Rock of Ages he’s always been
Who came to earth to bear our sin
Our guilt our shame, he took our loss
And carried it upon his cross
He gave us hope and peace and love
He restored our friendship with God above
The Great Shepherd has many names
But forever and always he’s still the same
He’s known as Jesus to you and me
And with that name he sets men free.

Bob Tyler Poem
Blood and water poured from Christ’s side
In order that we might abide
In Jesus and escape God’s wrath
Led by His Spirit in the path
That saints throughout the ages trod
In order that a loving God
Might save us from eternal Hell
And let us drink from His deep well
Of blood and water poured on the earth
To consummate mankind’s new birth
On Calvary the day Christ died
Blood mixed with water poured from His side

Bob Tyler Poem
Sin it’s said broke God’s heart
For it truly did set man apart
From God who yearned and grieved for man
Devised the perfect Divine plan
To restore man to his rightful place
And show the world His wondrous grace
For sin had taken a deadly toll
By killing man’s eternal soul
Satan used it to deceive and kill
And took from man his own free will
He made man a slave to lust and greed
A worker of every perverted deed
In all this God’s great heart was rent
So His only begotten son He sent
To drink the cup His father gave
In order that man might be saved
The cup of wrath filled to the brim
Christ drank it all and took the grim
Penalty of sin to free man’s soul
He died the death and went to Shoel
Until the victory was finally won
God was separated from His Son
This was really what broke God’s heart
God and God totally torn apart.

Bob Tyler Poem
Can you hear Him, He’s whispering
Come back to me, turn from your sin
There’s no iniquity that’s so great
That Jesus’ blood can’t expiate
I’ll forgive you then my child you’ll be
The price was paid at Calvary
The cost was great; my only Son
Return to me beloved one
For you are worth the price I paid
Upon my Son your sins were laid
For you my love my heart does yearn
Please come back, please return
If you only knew how I long for you
What I wish to give and want to do
To give you a new heart of flesh
And breathe my spirit into you afresh
What I did with Adam I’ll do with you
We’ll walk together in the morning dew
I’ll anoint your eyes so that you can see
And ears to hear, please heed my plea
I only have good will towards you
I have the power to make you new
Harden not your heart if you hear my voice
I will not force, it’s your free choice
You’re the jewel that I long to cherish
It’s not my will that you should perish
So come to me and I’ll take your hand
And lead you into the Promised Land
As I was with Israel my chosen one
I’ll be with you til victory’s won.

Bob Tyler Poem
Is there anything too hard for Him
The God that made an axe head swim
Who healed a blind man with some mud
And made the rod of Aaron bud
He led His people through the sea
And drowned the pursuing enemy
He fed five thousand with a prayer
And caused the Holy Veil to tear
Because of Jesus we enter in
The Most Holy Place without sin
And meet with Yahweh face to face
Due to Christ’s abundant grace
Of all the miracles God has done
This surely is the greatest one.

Bob Tyler Poem
My dear friend don’t you hear
The Savior’s voice who holds you dear
He’s calling you from heaven above
He sent his Spirit as a dove
To tell of judgment and convict of sin
And make a way to enter in
To his kingdom and his good graces
To sit in Christ in heavenly places
The door is open don’t delay
The time is now, today’s the day
God is love we can all agree
But there’s another side you need to see
A Day is coming called Judgment Day
When Heaven and earth will flee away
To the rocks and hills man will cry aloud
Fall on us and become our shroud
Every idle word you say
You’ll account for on Judgment Day
You must decide what you will do
The Savior’s voice is calling you.

Bob Tyler Poem
Do you know the love of Christ
Who paid for you the highest price
With suffering and agony
He bled upon a rugged tree
Men cursed and spit into his face
He died for you, he took your place
He did it willingly for you
To prove his love and start a new
Relationship with sinful man
For this has always been his plan
He woos you with his awesome love
God sent his wrath from up above
Upon his own beloved son
Who of God’s plan said
“It is done”
