Blood and Water

Blood and water poured from Christ’s side
In order that we might abide
In Jesus and escape God’s wrath
Led by His Spirit in the path
That saints throughout the ages trod
In order that a loving God
Might save us from eternal Hell
And let us drink from His deep well
Of blood and water poured on the earth
To consummate mankind’s new birth
On Calvary the day Christ died
Blood mixed with water poured from His side

A beautiful piece, Bob; an appropriate Easter verse. For some it is the custom here to go to the spring on Easter morn for water. It's amazing how many people show up in the wee hours, for this. Faith does have its own healing properties, and this water does seem miraculous. God's blessing to you and yours! Mikki
