Excuse Me Please Pass the Salt

Excuse me please pass the salt

Excuse me please pass the salt,
I am out of luck hit by a lightning bolt,
I am sitting here quiet around this desk,
Thinking about which escape route is best.
It's a blind date set up by others,
Not someone you take home to mothers.
I cannot move I cannot speak,
The duck I am eating still has a beak,
I feel almost sick I feel almost weak,
The feeling is real our future together looks bleak.
Send me the cheque let me leg it now,
I am tired of dinner need to get this some how.
He's quite a bit older by the look of his skin
The stuble is patchy on his chin.
I nose dive into my soup,
He's spilled his food onto his suit.
I want to hide I want a simple good night,
A run in the other direction the no end in sight.
They bring out first course second and third,
We sit in silence not saying a word.
He's not my type or even a maybe,
He sucks his fingers to enjoy the gravy,.
Ok I am totally and utterly unimpressed.
The night was left ruined I wore my best dress.
I need a rest I am exhausted and drained.
This night will never be the same.
Ken you will never be my man I say,
I will always be Barbie in every way.
Mum calls me and I drop my dolls shhh i say it's in the vault
As barbie passes ken the salt.

When My Addiction Speaks

When my addiction speaks

It's your last hit you say,
I’ll get clean one day.
I'll give up the blow,
After this show.
After this drink I will definitely stop,
I am standing here handcuffed being dragged by the cops.
I will not take those pills that sit over there,
I will will not vomit again into my hair.
My cuts on my arms will definitely fade,
I am addicted to this little blade.
My baby will grow up knowing me well,
You are putting needles in veins your body you sell.
My crawling feeling will fade in time,
the storm will finish and the sun will shine.
I'll have one last bong before I drive,
Measuring your coffin to fit your size.
I will stop the binge eating the purging will end,
I am addicted to you my scales are my friend.
Sex is amazing I just can't stop,
In bed with one and the erections a flop.
I am addicted to cigarettes my fingers are stained,
Yesterday I found out lung cancer was named.
I am dying to quit you, I put you out where you belong,
I tried but it didn't stay to long.
I put my money into the pokies it went up in smoke,
Now I am homeless totally broke.
I am sitting in prison for the rest of my time.
I love you I hate you addiction of mine.
I finally sit here and cry for weeks,
I heard you ok ! when my addiction speaks.

Twinkle Twinkle

Twinkle twinkle bright eyes blue,
Where have you disappeared to.
Your shining eyes and gazing look,
Sparkles in this little brook.
The black sheep has left it's flock,
And the kittens traded mittens for socks.
The three blind mice have regained their sight,
And snow went to a solarium no longer white.
Cheers to the 7 dwarfs,
Grumpy went to prison with out any remorse.
Cinderella is clean as a glass
She's tough as nails she runs real fast.
Prince charming turned into a jumping frog,
And Pinocchio got on the grog.
His nose no longer grows,
As he is drunk and jimmindy knows.
He's taken out snow a couple of times dinner I would say,
Double dated with Rapunzel but her hair got in the way.
It didn't end nice and the fight broke out,
Left snow sad wearing a pout.
Locked up in a cell with no where to go,
The bail wasn't made the 3 bears never showed,
They were eating porridge and fell asleep,
They called another, little bopeep,
She was hosting a dinner party her guest were sheep.
So they hang their head in shame,
And pointed fingers to blame.
Pinocchio was never the same,
He gave up the drink took up the soccer game.
Rapunzel cut off her hair and snow white started to peel,
Nursery rhymes are always fun when they are totally unreal.

My Inside Out Friends

My inside out friends

Let me tell you about the days I meet
My inside out friends such a treat.
Usually they mingled inside of my head,
With lots to say now a bit more is said.
I've been topsy-turvy smothered by others,
Wicked wise and protecting mothers.
No calm down or be silent now,
Don't leave off lights somehow.
There's colour in their smiles and tickling little tummies,
There is crude remarks and eating all the yummies.
There is walking long distances slam-dunking balls,
The short answer the questions are tall.
I have inside out friends to me they cannot hide,
It's a bumpy hell of a ride.
My inside friends come out to play,
Just a few but now they'll stay.
My friends are my guidance my every move,
My every rough and every smooth.
My inside out friends have tears in their eyes,
As I sit here they hear my cries.
They pop out and shake me about,
Wake up B it's time to rise they shout.
Go away I reply using a stink eye glance,
Give me a moment a second chance.
Let me get my act together without your helping hand,
Just relaxing Living in my rainbow land.
Oh how quiet things will be in time,
My inside outs are all mine.
Maybe they will clear my skies
Before I wake,
Give me a hell of a shake.
Single human one brain,
You think i must be insane.
I am many faces to this diamond I must confess,
I wouldn't want them any less.
My inside out roundabout disorganised mind,
I am unsettled but definitely not blind.
I see others inside out
This is what I am all about.
