Step Into Darkness......

A feeling from nowhere kindles
  The flame
 I step into darkness
Caressing the pain
  Embracing emptiness
  Flirting with death
A fight between anger and sadness
     Into the darkness
Nowhere left to leave
So I long to bleed
A crimson Red
The lonely dead
forever seek the warmth
But cold inside
  forever rides
Pale a winters horse
Pray release My heavens
Yet bound by earthen bones
Always there are the shadows
Alone….alone…..alone……..

Gone But Not Forgotten

Our Country Tis of thee, sweet land of Liberty,
That bleeds Red, White and Blue across the sands of a distant land.
For purple mountain majesties and amber waves of grain..
Their blood is among the plains.
Do You pledge allegiance to the Flag for which it stands,
One nation In need of God…
             These United States Of America.
Oh does that star spangled banner yet wave in the hearts and mind’s
Of those who love it more than life.
For some it is their only gift
   The greatest gift of all.

From Sea to shining sea ,
   They’ve come and they’ve gone.
Some nameless, some known,
We all die,,
    But some never come home
The Brave,,,Back to the land of the free.

                                                     W.A.R

Pink Horizon

At chases end the day fades,
And the colors of the Sky are gone.
Replaced with cool wisps of grey
that gather all of the light
And hide it in one corner of the sky
                                           The wind is its helper
Beckoning each cloud to return to
                                               it’s home,
and leave the lust of a pink horizon
And affairs of cool white sand.

Jennifer's Dawn...

I can see the dawn,
                                       southern shades of blue
Trees and birds begin to stir
                                       She lays asleep

                                    I can see your face
                                      Southern shades of blue
                                         Turning to me
                                      You awaken slowly

                                     Suspended between thoughts
                                              And dreams
A land where I know you

                                    I can see a star
                                Your light in my darkness
                                      Southern shades of you
A found lost land of love
The place where I hold you....

Bounty of Blood....

I feel the Anger of the world
So many souls boiling black with hate
Awaiting for the stars to scream WAR
    One last time
I see the rage of a nation unleashed
 In the streets
Preying on one another
  Humanity a spiders thread
Behold the gates of HELL hath opened
 Black wings blossom and gather
   They are legion
I am not afraid
The time for Valor has not passed
If suffering is the way to the kingdom
I offer my pain and live it
Or if a bounty of blood must be paid
I open My veins and give it.

Far Away,,The Stars That Know My Name

Far Away…..the stars that know my name
And lie with me on a pillow dream blanket of sleep
While glimpsing thoughts jump across
  On misty morning memories
To visit the keeper of my Dreams
And ask her,, but why she lingers…………………

Deep Blue......

Deep blue curls
To give me rise into motion

Spiritually I glide

on a frozen moment in time
Atop the power beneath me

Softly I walk across her face
With cold white hair all around me

She sings a song of the universe
While we dance only briefly
   Never to meet again
Less I paddle out to find her.

Visions In Vino

Lo doth the grapes drip from my lips
and stain my mouth like royalty
Awake in the darkness
Learning the truth of the vines
Hearing the whispers of weeds
Saturated with the knowledge of life
Enlightened by the promise of death
Moved by Miles
Seduced by the highway
A golden horn of broken yellow
Played softly to a beast
The gentle hum of change
 outside your window
A warm feeling of home
 inside a glass
An oasis of my mind.

Soul Watcher

I watch these Souls as they wander
You can see the ones that are lost
Their village of stone has no feeling
Cold as the night it lives under
Oppurtunities are few and farfetched
For those who know not their way
Wanting only to make it easier
And great is the price that they pay

These streets are filled with Dreamers
Some fall and some grow wings
While others sway
In the lime light decay
Of a brokenhearted being..

Razorblade Ballet

Once upon a sadness,
               The darkness came to play
And the children of the blood
                 Danced the razorblade ballet

          An orchestra of the lost
               Played songs on the night
            While the winds of misery
                Carried the pale tunes through
                   Lonely skies
         And upon vunerable ears this
             Lullabye of hurt did fall
          As steel and flesh unite
                      Ancient practice
                Spill the drops
                 Purge the blackness
          Scars are mine, pain divine
When lights balance holds not the sway
               Only dancers know the price
           My razorblade ballet.
