I'Ll Let Her Go

I hate you, you broke me.
Then after that negativity is all that I could see.
It's almost a year, but I still love you.
Yet there is no other way for you to see that it is true.

Then our bosses decided to send us for a month-long training.
And then my heart started to sing.
Because it is a training to a very far place.
And the next thing I knew, happiness was already on my face.

You didn't have any romantic partner, and so do I.
But I didn't expect my feelings would even dare to try.
I confessed my love almost a year ago.
Yet you refused and told me to let you go.

But such is life, isn't it?
Just when I thought it's over, it suddenly came.
Is the light inside my heart once again being lit?
Or will the outcome stay the same?

Then I just regained consciousness and realized that I must act.
I still have those feelings for her, and that's a fact.
So I'll do everything I can to turn things around.
Because for the second time, I hear my heartbeat's sound.

I tried harder than my first time.
Just to make you feelings for me to chime.
From being a gentleman to a protector.
There's not a thing I would do to meet you in the shore.

I tried to forget my feelings for you, but I can't.
So I did all there is to do, as those non-verbal words are being sent.
And now I know, I should continue this love.
But this is not a love where I can fly like a dove.

I wanted you to be happy, even if it's not me.
So I am setting you free.
A line from the song said, "Only know you love her when you let her go."
So now I say this to you, "I'm letting you go."
