love is something that
we all do search for
we need to find that someone
that one we can adore
then we think we find them
and they break our heart
now we must start over
and don't know where to start
how then do we do it
put it back together
for there is no guide book
on making hearts feel better.

confusion,delusion
thoughts that aren;t real
the things that i see
the way that i feel
not sure what is there 
don't know what is real
believing more each day
that i got a raw deal.

there is a ray of light
in everybodys life
for some it is a husband
and others it is a wife
for some it is their children
some are high on life
no matter where they find it
their light it gives them hope  
as long as they still have it

i feel like a lost soul
drifting thru this life
how will i overcome it
all the struggle and strife
i fight a battle each day
deep within my head
many times i lose it
and inside i feel dead

i thought that it was true
i started thinking daily

so i made my big decision

confusions my reality
tell me which is real
what you call reality
is not what i feel
i live my life in chaos
it's a part of me
you don't hear what i hear
don't see the things i see
so how then can you tell me

Insomnia

i wonder as i sit here
night after sleepless night
why can't i sleep like they do
so peaceful and serene
maybe it is because
their conscious is still clean
my dreams they are a nightmare
that seem so very real
and so i'd rather not sleep
than dream the pain i feel.

i'm on a new journey
each day a new surprise
not knowing what will happen
each day when i rise
i sit and watch the sun
coming up each day
knowing that it's GOD
who'll make it all okay.
