Immigrant

I dream a world were Immigration isn't an issue of wreck

No person will generalize the topic ever bad. When people have a strong path to citizenship,
that is not a long trek.
People will see that they want better lives, so they see a life a tad more glad.
A country were the goverment is ruled by criminals, ever heck.
A country were drug lords are not a common sight,
Where Justice will keep the head of Evil, on his wall ever hung.
Where disease and goverment is not a common plight,
And were the smile of a leader isn't just a mask.
When they can finally show their citizenship forms with ever might,
Their moods flowery as a Pasque.
A country were they will deport mother, and son,
Instead of leaving the lone child with a life of bane,
That may leave them with a life of little to none.
I dream a world were man's hope of freedom will not be slain.
Of such I dream, my world!

The Faithful Man

A Good Man that once lived,
He stayed true,
Always gived.
Though everyone loved him,
No one shunned him,
But the People above him,
Grew jealous of him.
He who thought of himself very high,
Fate was his name,
His humour dry.
Fate tripped the good man,
The man fell flat on his face,
Realizing the hurt was nothing,
He got up.

Mothers, Sons, Drugs, and Rum

Death's a bitch,
I was cheated by wrath,
Don't follow my path,
No matter the itch.
I'm protecting you,
From the events to come,
Mother, please listen,
Put down your rum.
Dad always said,
To love and learn.
I'm your lesson,
I'm your happiness,
I'm your cries,
Your constant yearn.
We'll get through this,
As we always did,
Just when Dad left us,
I was only a kid.
Worry not Mother,
All will be swell,
Do it for me,
Life is yours,
Time will tell.

A Beautiful Lie

Darling, Darling, Why did you torment me so?
A silver bullet aimed at my heart,
Which caused a deadly blow.

Darling, Darling, why did you hide it for so long.
I treated you right,
I did you no wrong.

Darling, Darling, I know now.
You never loved me,
No way, no how.

Darling, Darling, finally I see.
You were just a beautiful lie,
Who made my heart bleed.

Revitalize (Me)

Here I write in the shade of nigh,
The future approaches, The past behind,
Inner Peace has come, yet soon may go.

This time draws near,
I expected this so.
A thought of reinvention,
Revitalization,
Remaking.

Life is changing like the leaves of fall,
My poetry echoes,
It fades,
But never disappears.

I take a new route,
Stronger,
Smarter,
Meaningful it will be.

Finally I see.
Life has many forks,
As of this one I write,
I accept this new course,
Of reinvention,
Revitalization,
Of remaking.

This is the route I shall take.
This is me.

The Way I Am

Do you love me the way I am?
Think of what you want of me
I couldn’t even give a damn,
About your attitude as bitter as black tea.
Why don’t you listen to this Rhyme
And swim against the tide.
Be yourself, don’t change for anyone who thinks you are grime
Be proud of you. Shine your face filled with pride
After you look at yourself, maybe you would accept me for the way I am.

Stray Cat

I’m the lost soul at your door,

Little face
Beady eyes
Cautious pace
My hair has thinned,
To strands of lace.

I’ve never been loved,
The love is gone,
I have been abused,
Left on your lawn.

I am misunderstood,
Mistaken for a threat,
I have been scarred,
I hold regret.

I’m the lost soul at your door. A stray cat, no less, no more.

Killing Me Softly (Broken Heart)

My heart is broken,
Shattered to Pieces,
Beyond Repair;
I thought there was barely a care
I did my share.
This isn't the first time
I have no air
Those people never saw
That they were killing me ever so softly
That these scars of rejection I try to keep hidden, would be my ever flaw.

Be

Bring me to the days when the horizons were there,
Show me that you will continuously care,
Don't cry, Don't Cry that day will come,
I'll be back in your arms once again.

Though that day may never come,
I'll Always be with you,
I'll always be out there,
I will never stop loving you.

I can promise one thing.

I will always Be.

The Love Song

I turned on the radio,
Then I heard,
A song from ABBA,
Flow like a bird.
I began to weep,
The lyrics so sweet,
Reminded me of you,
In it's final sweep.
We ended too soon,
I never gave you time,
Regret bubbles up,
As the end starts to chime.
I do, I do, I do want you again,
but something clicks,
I'm a fool of a man.
