Love

Some say she is fire,
Others heat.
Some think that she can not perceive warmth
In view that she is the spark of passion- the flame.
They say that her sea of embers prove their point
But if so,
Where's the passion?
If you’ve never felt anything but heat,
Was she ever there?

I say she is ice,
Marbled, still ice,
For movement would create heat,
But only she can cause the fever.
When you find your soul
She begins to ignite.
Her flame becomes irrevocable, she mirrors you,
Growing as you become whole.
Now as she has become one with you,
She keeps you warm.
Any more when you step in the frigid winter
The cold no longer incapacitates,
Rather remind you of what is keeping you warm.

She began as ice,
Falling into heat.
Just as you once fell,
Moving with you all the way down.
Gravitating into each other.
Just as you were empty,
She was ice.
Now you are complete,
And she is on fire.

Beginning of the End

I lie in the grass,
Knees in my hands,
Shattering like glass.
Trying to understand
As you turn you back
On what I thought was confirmed.
Your eyes seafoam green
Like the waves.
The ocean retreated,
But never returned.
To be completed
Leaving the beach a slave,
I walk away
Trying to forget
What happened today

My Moon

For as long as we share the moon
I am content
Because even when we are apart
You are still next to me
Connected by the thing in the sky
That never leaves
So even when we are miles apart
You will never be more than a moon afar.

Flying Ocean

When you awake without me
Sun shining in you eyes,
Making your tears shine
Let them fall.
When tomorrow starts
And I am not there
I wish you would not cry,
Thinking over things you did not get to say in time.
Feel it all
But without the shimmer
As the feelings leak out
So do I.
Hold on to me,
But don't let me be the anchor.
Heal without my presence
Make yourself feel,
But don't become an ocean.
Let me drown in you,
And never let me escape.

Unknow Match

I know what it is like to love someone
That you’ve never met.
To love them so profoundly,
But can not picture you with them.
The only evidence
Is the whole in my chest.
I think it just might be the feeling.
Being surrounding by it,
Yet not knowing who created it.
I have only felt the smoke
Of our unborn fire
Waiting for your spark.
Having the flame travel
To create the fire;
To make me burn without the fog
Of never knowing who you are.

Eyes

Fall for the way she sees
They will never age
When you fall for a constant
You will never feel the change.
As brown turns to ash
Her complexion fades
And your skin gathers
The looking glass will never change,
Growing old but never alters
You find yourself in the black center.
So immersed in each other you lose awareness,
And everything else fades away;
You're trapped in each other.
Once you escape the void
You move on to the elements
Swimming in the ocean,
Running on dirt,
Climbing a tree
Or anything in between
The adventure of the color
Is the only thing you see
As she grows old
That color radiates
So fall for the way she sees
They will never change.
