missing a spine.

diving
into mine
destroying
all that’s
decent and fine
Black queen
toppled
White king

Bend the knee
Morals
Shrank shamefully
Poppies
Awakens
Lust and desire
Hidden
Under a blanket
Of dust
Spread by
A local friar
Weeping mothers
Cursing fathers
Blatantly picking
Their daughters
Flowers.
Lavishly seeding
red carnations
on needful acres.
Countdown
Cardiac device

Greed is a seed
growing on human's need
to achieve to acquire
throwing goodness into
an everlasting fire.
Greed is a desease
growing stronger and stronger
untill we will find a cure
so that it would be
in our hearts and minds no longer
