Wolf Life

It's like this when born
For some at death as well,
You fell into the maw
Or someone pushed you in.

Some days it feels colder
Inside your mind,
Entering in the paw marked stall
Where entrails leave stinking scent.

You are there at break time
And it snaps at your heels,
You snap to attention
Every nerve, at fires mention.

Once upon a midnight's pyre
You forgot the matches,
Now wolves approach to catch this,
Their own dinner of toes and nose.

Your mind knows no difference
Between rejection or infliction
Of an injury to body or soul,
So climb out of your head for breaths sake!

Panther

Wakens a sleeping big cat
Whose coat boasts the best colors
For a panther to wear under cover,
At the nightly feasting he cleans
Claws and tail, no spots missed,
His snores thereafter unheard through mists
Of the nights spent in this cold cave
Wherein his sweet scent brings more critters
And now he bellows with delight,
As creatures enter a legendary domain
In the King of Panthers sight,
Little fight ensues, as enraptured they remain.

Thought Stream

She has no face in the world,
Not even a mask to cover this
Scarlet letter riding her back--
How do you erase that sign
But by hiding in the corners
Of your mind,
Blind, deaf and dumb,
Climbing among the numb dead
Folks, who have no clout,
No doubts that they're fodder
For the massive heart attack
Society blends in pots
Of despair, dread and broken dreams, are shot.

Starving Artist

Down on luck
Or luck lost,
You're stuck
In the muck
You've made.

Starving artist
Wearing twigs
And berries,
Your hair mussed
Locks tangled up

Like your life,
In dark pieces,
No chocolate shakes
For your disgrace,
A life sacrificed...

Dagung

Another word for
Daybreak, everyday's best
Time to be happy

Look back on the old
Recalling the best moments
Of each newborn day

Ancient tongues dawning
Should be resurrected new
Anew modern words

Nymphatic

Siren or sea nymph queen
Sea hag encircled by arms,
Serenity isn't her domain--
Silent swarm of suction cups
Tell secrets to the mistress
Enchantress of deep dreams
Dark abyss of abysmal kelp beds,
Belies the smile she keeps
Kindled on her maidens face.

Why My Poetry Sucks

To tired
To get inspired,
That's when it happens
That my poetry sucks atoms
From the atmosphere
From my feeling ionosphere
Electrons electing Trump
Every time he gets up
To the next podium
To pause for silenteum.

Naked On the Floor

He left her standing there
In the hallway of despair,
No care nor emotion shared
Just a blank cold stare.

She shrank with icy fingers
Barely holding his guitar,
No time to stop her lover
Turned into an overnight stranger.

He wanted her body lustily
Promising future love and gaiety,
Though his words were just stories
To make her wish to comply.

She sank naked on the floor
Mind gone to the land of nevermore,
Where raven thoughts flew
Escaping through her finger tips.

He slammed that black door as she cried
Dismay at trust lost, inside
An empty armed woman
Clutching this instrument of death.

No Wings

I don't know where my wings went
But one things for sure,
There's no talking about it to the moon
No saying hey how are you
When I'm sitting here staring at you!

Her face launched ships
To sea, to sea...
Now she's begging for
Mercy... mercy... mercy...

I don't know where my wings went
But it's a real event,
Under the stars a new wave has swept
Me away from shores of doom,
Now starving for what cannot be said.

Circumlocution

Ancestors Of old times
Time their visits to me,
In dreams and visions wake,
Awake me to the spirits I seek,
Seeking to renew life,
Living for tomorrow…

Tomorrow begins new
Newly wishing I’m free
Freely speaking my heart
Heartfully making songs
Sung inside this souls place
Placing it in life’s view…

Viewing the chaos realms
A realm where change blossoms
Blooming with new vigor
Vigorously starting,
The starts growing right up
Upward summer burgeons...

Burgeoning words blowing
Blown by winds directions
Directly unbound air
Airily circulates
To circumnavigate
Cirrus highs and fogs lows.
