The Smell of Rain That Impregnates Freedom

Neither this torrential rain have the will to stop
Nor the monsoon sky have the will to lit up this darkness!

God only knows what happened to the firmament,
That breaking and exploding on us like this!
Maybe the sky is bleeding and wailing in agony,
As the earth is clutched by the claws of oppression

Is this the end? ......
Perhaps there may be another tempest is broiling.
Yes, I could see this droplet of rain encapsulated Psalms of freedom
Neither does this rain want to stop...
Nor the sky lit up and burn this darkness.

This will not stop!....?
How on earth this mayhem will stop!
When the innocent people got killed and buried on mountains,
And the grass blanketed the pain and cries choked inside the soil
The earth got bloodied of murder and arson!
From that wetness of blood blooms new voices,
voices of wisdom and humanity will resonate freedom
new slogans of humanness will echo on the mountains.

Yes the mother earth is nurturing us With her milky dews,
The trees are waiting and witnessing the secret moves
Of a whirlwind that brawling faraway!!!!
The time will stop when the doomsday arrives,
yes I know this rain will bring back a Hurricane...

The thunderous clouds looming over with war cry!
Yes this thwarting rain is bringing back the storm
And will wash away the pain and bloodshed,
uncover, and unveiling the nameless tombs and free the souls.

Yes, these Dark clouds will clear up for a new dawn
Yes, this New sky of freedom will prevail peace
the new sky will bring warmth of hope and life......!!!

Emergency Ward Bed No 5

Emergency ward, Bed no. 05

By - Ahmad Rayees

I found her lamenting in agony on the bed
Like a hunted bird with broken wings
Her frail body was trembling in shudder
That Innocent girl Couldn't take the tremors of betrayal
Her soul was gripped in pain and disbelief
As though that devil has stolen her soul and dreams
She was shocked to know that she is been abandoned
And Shivering like the lamb in a thorny bush Without escape
As her cries pierced through me and,I was in distress
When I approached her, she was numb and anxious
She wanted to share her pain only to me among others,
But I was afraid to break the wall of her loved ones
I looked at her eyes, and she looked at mine
We both were sailing through a different timescape
But she was stranger to me as I was to her,
As I tried to console her eyes with my angst eyes
The teary veil fell apart and those eyes became calm
She was stranger to me as I was to her
And I walked away through the corridor,
I walked away tormented and desolated
Knowing that we stood a pole apart
She is restless and I was helpless
she was stranger to me as I was to her .
