None But a Pen

In despair, only pen can understand the distressful heart
Like a singing bird in the winter.

The Perfection In Me

Ujjal Mandal, India

When I get hurt from the reasons
known or unknown,
I talk to my soul and
I feel the perfection in me;

When I feel sad,
I look at the smiling flowers
and I paint my heart with the rays
of beauty and colors.

A Hug Can Alter Us

A hug means a bit of peace
Inside, forgetting all pain
A fragment of smile.
A hug means arriving of spring
Where bees and flowers absorb
All the attention to loving,
When the moon shares her glowing
Light with a dark night is a hug,
Nothing but love can alter
A cruel heart to a soft lotus.

Mother a Multifaceted Personality

A dead tree looks like a stone
Of thousand years black, fissured and tan-faced,
But still no hopes to fall down:
The secret is that she holds the invisible
Beauty steady and faithful.
Although she is dead by body but
Still alive in her warm sighs of beauty.

To make the unseen beauty visible,
You've to be poetic.
The body is reduced to ashes some day
But beauty never perishes.
Between a dead tree and a mother
I find a sweet simile!

When a mother holds a pen
The world comes to her feet,
And implores to be her slave.
Mother is a such a subtle flower
That blooms through all the year.

Mother is a wax
If someone good or evil
Comes to her, he or she becomes
Liquefied by her warm.

Mother is a blooming lotus in the nectar,
But that ambrosia becomes poisonous
When a hornet stings the lotus.

Literature isn't possible bare mother-
Even, except her there is no identity of father,
What we are today!
What we were yesterday!
And what we shall be-
All credit goes to mother: the symbol
Of all women.

Religion of Water

One day I took some water from a pond and
Let them go with a nearby river:
The river accepted them to
Their long journey together;
Some water I drew from the well and
Drove them to the same river:
The river accepted again without resistance.
After that I filled a bucket with rainwater and
Released them into the river:
The river agreed to move together.
The river welcomed all sincerely-
She never laid her hands on the scales of
Caste but spread the stream of love in her veins
And arteries all around.

Mother My Muse

Sometimes I feel
I am alone,
None is there
But when I look at
The blooming lotus,
I feel I am among thousand
Happiness and
I am sparkled with
Merriment-
This lotus is my mother:
My muse!

The Thrill of Infatuation

What you had yesterday that
I have today and what
I have today
That must be yours tomorrow.
We have been made
Solely to perform on stage
In well and woe.
Just think...
What if we were not born?
We'd not feel the
Gentle touch of mother,
The sweet
Fragrance of flower,
The appearance
Of the sun,
 The delectable call of fountain,
And the taste
Of our paradisiacal earth.
But today we have
All together in compact.
Still Time will come
To take all away.
He needs no permission at all.
All possessions must be
Like dust in the storm.
Our stone like body will remain
Under the jolly sky,
On the motherly
Ground around the sweet smells.
But how much pain
When we'll wish to
Have them all to quench
The heavy hearts but fail.
I can't hold...I can't hold...
More painful when
Dear mother will say, 'O my gold,
Wake up! Wake up!'
And I can't get up even if
I understand her motherly voice.

Beauty In Ugliness

We believe in good things easily
But hard to confide in bad ones,
(Beauty tells us the jovial story
But often it throws the dark rays
Into our smiling face.)

We know if the flowers
Bloom, they must give sweet fragrance
To the air, but we often forget
Some are odorless. Some flowers which
Bloom beyond our vision are full
Of sweet nectar but we don't care of them.
Oh dear, if we believe in beauty blindly,
Why we can't seek the latent essence
Of ugliness opening our big eyes?

Dancing of Earth

When spring arrives,
A group of flowers enjoy
Their countenance and
As the day grows older
They lose their incandescent looks.
If they could know the collapse
Before the begetting,
I hope they'd remain unborn.

A child was obsessed with
Playing her dolls,
Fortuitously a wooden wife
Fell on, mother said:
'The earth is dancing',
The child took it in a wrong way,
Her body was found
After ten days under the whetted
Crown of cement made house,
The sun kissed her pale cheeks
And gave her last smile.

The Glory of the Past

A dry leave reminds us the past
glory of the tree,
in the same way a lonely heart
tells us the days of love full
of joy and happiness in the past.
