“INVISIBLE CHAIN”
HUSBANDS SOMETIMES CALL THEIR WIVES
THEIR “BALL & CHAIN”
IF THAT WERE TRUE IN OUR CASE
THEN THE “CHAIN” WOULD BE INVISIBLE.
STARTING FROM THE RING I PLACED ON YOUR FINGER
LEADING STRAIGHT TO MY HEART.
FOR IT WILL NEVER CONSTRICT OR RESTRAIN
ONLY REASSURE AND REAFFIRM
MY LOVE FOR YOU.
I WILL NEVER WALK BEHIND OR IN FRONT OF YOU,
BUT WILL ALWAYS WALK BESIDE YOU.
THRU GOOD TIMES AND BAD
THIS “CHAIN” HOLDS STEADY.
SO, WHEN HUSBANDS CALL THEIR WIVES “THE OLE BALL & CHAIN”,
I SMILE
FOR OUR “INVISIBLE CHAIN” LEADS STRAIGHT TO MY HEART.

REALIZE
Do you realize
that my heart would cease to beat
unless it is near yours?
Do you realize
that one touch of your hand on the small of my back
makes me melt inside?
Do you realize
there's no sense waking up
unless I'm waking up next to you?
Do you realize
happy moments are not fully happy
unless I can share them with you?
Do you realize
my whole world
revolves around you?
Do you realize
the best thing in my world
is that I'm in love with my best friend?
Do you realize
everything in my life
would mean nothing without you in it?
Of all these things
I realize
that my idea of life complete
would be to spend the rest of my life with you.
