What Have We Done

What Have We Done

Day falls to night as night turns to Day,
Like a page in a old book fading away.
Headlines that grab us and bring us to tears,
The lies that they feed us and fill us with fears.
No wonder the youth don't tend to respect,
What has been left but total neglect.
Never the time to relate and have fun,
I doubt if alot have ever seen the sun.
Games, lies and all types of divisions clouding their visions,
Causing a cloud of mixed indecision.
What choice do they have that's truly their own,
With limited education they are no heir to a throne.
Left with a shell all coloured like rust,
Once a living planet now covered with dust.
Where once there were trees only commercialism breeds,
Thousands of species brought to their knees.
Did we ever ask them what they would like?,
Before our industries turned their day into night.
The damage that's been caused over a period of time,
No wonder she's angry this planet no shrine!.
Only a wasteland stands under our feet ,no soil around just solid concrete.
So they try to repair the damage that's done,
How naive they have been to not realize they were holding that gun .

As Solid As Water

Solid as Water

To flow along, around valleys, through mountains, over countries ,roll along reaches, amidst reefs to brush with the heavens and fall from the sky.
To energize terrains with growth,to gush with power, strong enough to cut through stone or steel,to smash shorelines apart to sink ships and flood.
To Ripple to the end,to lap at the edge,to trickle along, through and around if i had a choice i would be as solid as water.

Smells So Sweet

Smells So Sweet

A fragrance in the Air stops me where i stand a moment of perfection
Smells so Sweet
Taste buds water,Heartbeats faster breathing deeper to obtain more,
Smells so sweet.
Perfumed happiness,Positive thoughts,Forgotten stress,Relaxed frame of mind,
Smells so Sweet.
Totally lost subdued by smell ......Someone has taste...mmmmm
Smell So Sweet

Drifting

Drifting

Floating along at my perfect temperature,
Not too hot nor too cold.
No friction or abrasion or collision,
Uninterrupted,Unnoticed,Unaffected.
Mobile,Majestic.Miles Away
Swirling,Swaying and silent'Just Drifting

Inspiration

Inspiration

Inspiration appears in many ways, in some ways we don't even imagine.
Smell,Taste,Sight ,Sound.
It's just incredible what the mind can unravel in just a few short moments.
Words Build followed by emotion to form feeling from mind to pen and pen to paper.
Words that move mountains,Part Oceans and delve through peoples hearts with the same intensity that planets revolve around a sun.
The right words can create wars ,solve wars, bring nations together or tear them apart.
They can build castles and rally people together to solve the largest problems known to man.
They can help us reflect upon ourselves and place problems into a easier perspective without the emotional attachment and allow alot more rationality and practicality when needed and sometimes it's just alot easier to write then say.

Shyness Is a Disease

Shyness is a Disease

It happens without warning,No symptoms,No signs.
I wish it were something i could control!.
It always seems to stop me dead in my tracks,Unable to put words together,
I feel fear seeming to be unsure of saying the wrong thing or sounding silly or to be taken the wrong way.
Once the conversations starts to relax and starts to flow the fear subsides.
But i always have trouble starting the ball rolling, this is why i agree shyness is a disease as a cure is always close at hand in the way of a friendly hello or the initiative of others breaking the ice for me.
Shyness is a disease.

Silence

Silence

Water lapping the shore on a soft white sand,
Wind brushing my skin tingling all over.
A bird soaring high in the sky,
Clouds drifting on a never ending horizon.
Sunshine reflecting off the early morning dew,
A Rainbow appearing in the break of a storm.
The moon hanging in the star studded sky,
A Stream flowing through a palm laden valley.
The fog that rolls along a mountain range
The wish that my mind would just enjoy
Silence

Image Becomes Them

Image Becomes Them

Is it the right colour? is it the right shape?,
Is it the right style ?, Is it the right make ?
Too short ,Too long,Too short Too straight.
Do i wear this cap ,this scarf or this cape ?
Too red ,too brown....This with that you clown!,
When or what doesn't make you what you are
the Image inside is what makes you that star !.
Not what you wear nor what you own,
Not even where you tend to go.
Or whom you hangout with and whom you don't.
What you will do and what you wont.
What style boat or type of shoe.
Don't ever forget to love you for just being you

What If Happiness Were a Rainbow

What if Happiness were a Rainbow

If Happiness were a Rainbow what would the colours mean?

Red
Orange
Yellow
Green
Indigo
Blue
Violet

R for Regrets never having any above that's why Red is at the top
O for Overseeing all the under lying problems that stand in our way
Y for Your understanding of the circumstances surrounding your own life
G is for greeting every day with a smile
I for Integrity towards yourself and others you may come in contact with
B is for Believing that anything is possible if you really put your mind to it
V is the Victory you will achieve if you stand under the rules of a Rainbow
