The Running Game

The Running Game

I must run,
Not to have fun,
But to let my day unfold,
Maybe I can make some fun,
Maybe I can make someone smile,
Maybe I can lend a hand,
Maybe I can make someone glad he is alive,
Maybe I can make someone see their worth,
Maybe I can hold God's hand,
Maybe I can make an indentation on someone's heart.
So they can happily walk on God's footstool.

Forever

Forever begins with today,
Eternity begins with yesterday,
Time ticks it's endless seconds,
Life volumniously goes on,
The diaphragm keeps expanding,
The brain waves remain in constant evolution,
This is what's makes us homo sapiens,
The gift of seeing tomorrow,
The wisdom of remembering yesterday.
Treading up the hill we mustn't become heavy,
We must steadily look up beyond the mountain peaks.

Shadows

In a lifetime two shadows meet,
They never touch in there black loneliness,
They dream of a dance and a timeless sun,
That casts their shadows into eternity,
They move with each heavy step into their lifetime,
Never forgetting the other shadow that follows them,
One shadow has reflected on this planet for a long distance,
One shadow has just begun, he cannot catch hers,
One shadow is fading into another realm,
One shadow is just on the threshhold of the sun's rays,
One shadow turns and blows a kiss of hope,
One shadow must go on and stay in the sun,
One shadow must complete his silhoutte,
One shadow is three-quaters done,
Both shadows will remember,
Both shadows will forget,
One shadow must go one,
One shadow must sustain the image on earth's floor,
One shadow must always remember heaven's door.

My Name

Say my name,
            Utter my appellation,
            Let it caress your palate,
            Each letter emitting slowly,
Sprinkling each letter softly as you surrender it from you lips.

            Say my name,
Send it swiftly in the air,
            On a gust of wind,
            Let it reach my ear.

            Say my name,
Whisper it while the willow tree's branches sway,
Syallables freely floating in the atmosphere.

            Say my name,
In a ray of sunshine may it glow,
In a droplet of rain transparent may it rest.

            Say my name,
In a snowflake let it lie pure in a white world,

            Say my name,
In summer may it touch a rose petal,
In fall may it soar on a brilliant fallen leaf,
In spring may it bloom and blossom like the lilies of the valley,
In winter may it gleam on the arcs of an icicle.

           Say my name,
           Caress it with emotion,
           Let it reach my ear,
           Let it reach my heart,
Where I'll hear it in my soul.
