Racism, a Disastrous Element

RACISM, A DISASTROUS ELEMENT
I look at the world horrifically,
With depression and disgust,
As the masses enjoys in poverty
And fear.

I look at the world horrifically.
Every places, full of stratification,
And unlawful massacre of people.
Hmmm! What a cruel universe!

I look at the world horrifically.
Yesterday, raping and killing,
Today, racism,
Tomorrow, i guess something deadly and disastrous.

I look at the world horrifically.
Segregation among the whites,
Segregation among the blacks.
Weirdest part, segregation between the black and the whites.

I look at the world horrifically,
Stratification among the blacks, i called "tribalism ".
Hatred, i called among the whites.
Disunity rules.

I look at the world horrifically,
As our ancestors in great slumber.
With no hope of fortune.
Crying, segregation of the highest bidder.

Dazzling Lady of the 21st Century

Enthusiasm, the planet occupied.
As Sapiens lives in rage
Strives to come after
But all in sleeveless

Hence, in the land of the living,
Arouse a living Queen,
Waved by nature,
Tormented by hindrances,
And tempted by viles.

She stays through the storm,
Fight for her triumph,
And not easily bothered,
By countless thought of others.
Hmm! What a courageous Xena.

A pretty creature,
Creature, loved by the creator,
Endowed with courage,
Bestowed with beauty,
And blessed philosophically.

Every problem has it's own time and expiry date,
For, fear kills faster than the problem itself.
Putting Homo Sapiens at Tjunction.
But, she never does. Moremi of our century.

You are a blessing in disguise,
And motivation to others.
Engrossing lady of the 21st century.
Let your courage shine through,
As your eyes speaks of your true beauty.

Paradise For the Grendel

Standing on the mountain of Kilimanjaro,
Enduring hardship for centuries,
Forcefully uprooted from Savannah,
And crying for the moribund race.

Remembering the bootless slavery,
Discourteously displaced and separated from loved ones.
Instill in us, disdain and dishonor.

Many dreams crumbled,
Hmm! Dreams were traded like commodities,
Rights, trampled upon,
Lower classes, made labourers and creators of wealth for the upper classes and the Europeans.

Savannah, enslaved and then colonized,
Colonized, and then left devastated,
With dreams on the journey of no return.
Savannah! Savannah!

Brass are now fraudsters,
Embezzling without queries.
Forgetting their promises to the electorate.
Hmm! What a cruel Savannah.

Savannah's ancestors, watching in disgust,
And their laid efforts, sleeveless.
The ancestral land is dying.
The brasses forgetting the D day,
Where their wealth will be useless.

I wept furiously,
From today till tomorrow,
Savannah's misfortunes are unlimited to embark on.
Savannah, the great PARADISE for the GRENDEL.

Broken Trust

BROKEN TRUST
Everyday of my life came with sadness.
I tried to let go,
but i couldn't.
For, it's larger than my destiny.

I thought i could be loved by everyone,
but the opposite i got.
With my life crumbled,
but no one to come to my aid.

At age six (6), being molested
and abused at varying degrees.
Emotionally, physically, sexually, amongst others,
I was abused.

I tried to let go of the pasts,
i tried to let go of the saddened scenes,
i tried to let go the worst day of my life,
but, i just couldn't.

It seems God left me to be alone.
Molestation and abuses came,
even without notice.
I was shown the other sides of life.

Those saddened events, a lifetime memories,
Even when i think of committing suicide.
I think i will forever know sadness,
because i am a loser in the game of hope.

The New God, Corona Virus

THE NEW GOD (COVID-19)
In the land of lightness
Emerges the world with dreams
Where the world worship their God
Living in fear and abject poverty

In the land of lightness
The Malaikahs watch with ease
As man embarks on vanity
With challenges of different kinds

In the land of lightness
The dreadfulness of pandemic controls the world
HIV/AIDS, EBOLA VIRUS, LASA FEVER,
Became gods.

In the land of lightness
Covid-19 is now the God of gods to man
Arresting the world like criminals
Sending people to the journey of no return
Aborting dreams of man

In the land of lightness
Where the gallant soldier now controls the world
Making the earth disastrous
Who knows what comes next?

Almighty Father !
Forgive us our sins
Shower your blessing like rain

Live to give. Death is inevitable, life is very short. Corona virus is real. Stay safe.

No To Rape

The universe is not safe anymore,
As people lives in fear,
Yesterday killing, today raping,
And tomorrow, who knows what comes next?

Our women overwhelmed with fear,
Being harassed everyday,
Domestic violence is not left out.
Women are also human.

Five minutes of enjoyment for men,
Lifetime sadness for the women.
What a wicked world !
Women are also human.

Awareness and education.
Indecent dressings,
Assaultive speech to men, must be curbed.
Parental factor, also important.

Both parties,
Men and women, are at fault.
My sincere condolence to the victims.
Let's say no to rape.

Love In Pending

Bamused of searching for pearch,
Where there is no despondency,
To find saint in living.
The more i search,
The more bootless i found.

My heart became lonely,
Depression follows my path,
Courage became tedious to divulge,
Being my only sterling grants,
I became pessimistic.

Wandering around irrationally,
I met a charming Angel.
Bosom with beauty, and
Glowing like diamond.
Hmm! An Angel from heaven.

My hormones arose,
Hope seems to be back,
Courage seems to be summoned,
Depression seems to evacuate,
But, loneliness proves stubborn.

The angel sanitizes my heart,
And quarantine my emotions.
The Covid of my life,
As the beauty surpasses 19.
Wow! My eternity virus.

Her refusal locked me down,
And placed in isolation of love pandemic,
For weeks.
Loneliness proves stubborn,
My greatest grants.

Who have i offended?
And placed in Excruciation.
My love in pending .
Days, months and years,
Adoring you, will be my coach.

Tales of Vanity

In the land of horror,
lives a Sapien of honour,
who seeks love and virtue.
Also in quest of fortune.

Wandering like an hungry prey,
but nowhere to stay.
Hoping to be stinger,
but dying of hunger.

Jesus Christ of Nazareth !
Why does he roam in bereft?
Depression of all sorts,
and agony from different shortcuts.

The struggle of fortune continue,
and dances to anguish in different style,
but never in favour of honour,
in the land of horror.

The Burden On the Charcoal

What has the world comes to be?
Hatred has taken the mantle of power,
Without mercy or calmness,
And 360° stratification.

What has the black done?
Yesterday, harassment,
Today, killing and hatred,
And tomorrow, slavery i guess.

Is it a sin to be black?
Blacks with enormous fortune,
That glows like diamonds.
We are also human.

They are whites, we are blacks.
Ours skin is the difference.
Is egalitarianism still alive?
Crying.............

It is not a crime for being black.
Our rights, trampled upon,
Without justice.
Racism of the highest order.

Nature of Reunion

My heart roared like an hungry lion
In haste for prey to feed my roaring heart
But tedious to capture
The Lion and the Jewel departed for nine years
Without saying goodbye

I wandered around like a single pendulum
Wandering helplessly like an untimely killed ghost
Dying every minutes of unconsciousness
Missing my irreplaceable jewel
Thus, living an incomplete being

Ajike Mi owon,
Nature brought you back to me unexpectedly
Eleyinju ege
Adu mara dan
Igi leyin ogbami

Ajike, the spellbinding of all women
Loved by nature
Prettier than diamond
Valuable than gold
Cherished than sliver
Worthful than bronze

Ajike oni wura
Iru re sowon lawujo eniyan
Amon lewa omidan
Nigba ojo, nigba erun,
Mi o ni fi o sile
Arewa Obinrin ti wu gbogbo okunrin fi'saya
Arewa to ju arewa lo
Oniwa tutu bi Adaba
With trust, comes peace of mind
Nature and i will love you till eternity.
 Ajike mi owon.
