Seasons

Fall is here,the leaves turn brown,
softly,fluttering to the ground,
sunshine's gone,the sky is grey,
and rain fall's thru out the day

Winter creeps on silent feet,
snow and ice,with slippery sleet,
peacefully white covers the land
bitterly cold,to sting the hands,

Spring a time of things a-new,
sun comes up,to kiss the dew,
birds come to build their nest,
and rainbows seen at their best,

Summer now,to set us free,
blue skies,flowers,and green trees,
grass blowing softly in the breeze,
insects tests,tickle,and tease,

Fall is here,the leaves tun brown.............

The Long Journey

THIS IS A SHORT STORY WRITTEN 7/2/19
                     The Long Journey

Every day I walk almost a mile with my little pug "Tiko",he is 10 lbs.of energy
all bundled up in curiosity,he loves to see the wild life on our walks,every
day he sees something different or so it seems,sometimes its deer,rabbits,
turkeys,squirrels and other dogs.
      Today he saw a fuzzy black/brown worm slowly crossing the highway,he 
got all excited by this new wonder of nature,he started jumping all around me
hoping I would let him play with his new friend all the while this little worm
was slowly crawling across the highway.I finely pulled him away from his
new little friend and told him that his little buddy needed to go on with
his journey,and you and I need to go on with ours.
       Then as we watched the little worm a moment more as he was slowly
crawling across the road,he had not quite made it halfway,there came
the sound of a car coming down the highway,as I got Tiko to the side of 
the road where we would be safe,I wondered if the little worm had something
to keep it safe,knowing how dangerous his little journey is.Then the car
passed by "whoosh"went the car,and the air that followed in it's wake.
I looked and the little worm was safe this time and as he resumed his
journey,Tiko and I watched him a little more,then I knew we had to also
continue on with our journey.
         Then as I walked I thought about this wonder God let me see today
I thought we all have a journey in life,and God in his wisdom had showed
me this little worm against all odds,had made it to the other side of the
road,and like the little worm on the highway there are dangers all along our
way but like the little fuzzy worm,we all need to take this journey,even
knowing crossing life paths and crossroads can be dangerous,but we
all know God still holds us in his hands,and after all if he can take care
of one of his tiny creatures in his care,even little fuzzy worms,I felt tears
come to my eyes,as I knew just how much he loves every thing he created,
and knowing God watches over us on our journey of life,and as he 
lifts us up so this journey thru life will be a safer place to travel.
          I sure hope that fuzzy little worm got thru his tiny journey 
safely........

Butterfly

My life came rumbling,tumbling down
full of grief
and pain all around
I cry out,I need someone
but no help came,
cause your on the run
I need a shoulder,one or two
to help me see these days go thru
bring back time,the days that were
cause when I turn,your not there
just let me take your pain inside
if it takes that,to keep you alive
cause the butterfly,that sheds it's cocoon
then starts to come alive,and bloom
it tries and tries to learn to fly
then up and away thru the skies.
but the butterfly that's lost her wings
can no longer choose to sing.....
Last night I glimpsed my cocoon
so soft and cold like the moon
so wrap around me,one more time
let me near,let me hide
a butterfly that can not fly
loses hope,then finely dies
take back this tiny little thing
and hold it tenderly
keep her warm and safe
thru all eternity...........

This feeling I have is forbidden love
gliding gently on the wings of a dove
meeting secretly and hidden smiles
trying for freedom and finding trails
I love you,but no one must know
crying guilty before I go
forbidden love let me be
to live and laugh
just let set me free......

Heaven As My Home

My legs have started trembling
and I can hardly stand
and time goes so swiftly
just like grains of sand

my hands have started shaking
and I can hardly see
but soon I'll be leaving
when Jesus sets me free

as I walk in the garden
my knees ache with pain
I'll look on toward heaven
with so much more to gain

till my working days are over
and no more will I roam
I'll have Jesus as my savior
and heaven as my home....

I Want To Get To Heaven

I want to get to heaven
after Jesus saved my soul
see the pearly gates that's open
walk on the streets of gold

I want to see St.Peter
sit by the tree of life
listening to Jesus 
surrounded by his light

I want to talk to Moses
and I want to visit Paul
but Jesus is my savior
I want to see him most of all

I want to be with Daniel
who dreamed dreams of prophesy
of a better world a-coming
when Jesus sets us free

I want to walk with Jacob
in the heavens far above
singing with the angels
in a mansion filled with love

but,I want to see my Jesus
I want to touch his hand
I want to see my Jesus

Another Women

I took her in, more mother then friend
now she's in your arms
and my heartaches begins

I'm your women, I'm your wife
I'm the one who shares your life
can she hold you tenderly
even tho you still love me
does she watch you as you sleep
or hold you close when you weep
and if she can do all these things
then I'll take off my wedding ring

can she be your helper
when you need a helping hand
or keep you company
when you just need a friend
a mother to your children
a housewife in your home
can she do all these things
when I'm gone

a cook in your kitchen
a maid in your den
but most of all darling
can she just be a friend
a lover at night
when you hold her tight
a saint by day
when you go away
can she be all that I've been
and if she can, then our love's
come to an end

Another women in your life
not just a women
and not your wife
but if she can be all this
then I'll pack my things
and move on out
but can she love you
the way I do
and can she be the one
that's true
and if she can do 
all these things
then I'll give her
our wedding rings....

Star filled eyes
and golden curls
pretty pink
for little girls
beautiful songs
and night time dreams
of princess,dolls
kings and queens
or a round little man
with snow white hair
who sprinkles
magic everywhere
she's happiness
and laughter
and smiles galore
of wonderment,surprises 
of whats in store
of rainbows,and reindeer
of all kinds of things
stuffed panda's
and all kind of games
everything her heart 
can see
