Be Thankful
Be thankful for the little things
or more or less for birds that sing
to wind and rain or a ragging storm
be thankful now that you were born
be thankful for the change of time
for all to soon we all must die
don't ask the reason when or why
just be thankful now that your alive
be thankful for those little smiles
that brighten our pathway for miles
or a kind word spoken from the heart
just be thankful now that you were apart....
