Let Jesus In

Do you know how it feels not wanting to go on?
For emotional destruction made it hard to move on
So much pain that there's no happiness
Physical and internal tears descends because of what's happening
An insensitive heart and a soul that's so weak 
My vision so blurred that my path I couldn't see
No mother, no father, no food, and no heat
As an adolescent this was the hand that was dealt to me
Lord I can't thank you enough for what you're doing for me
For you hugged my spirit before it chose defeat
For the tears I shed now I want the world to see
So they can know the love you put inside of me
Because of you Lord my existence has glory
For you made me appreciate my past, because it's only a chapter to my story
Lord I surrender so do as you will
Lord, influence every heart so they feel as I feel
For every trail and lesson, It's a blessing on the way
So when you hear Jesus knocking don't just invite him in, let him STAY

Life Been Hard

Since I've been born life's been hard 
Lived in roach filled apartments with dirt filled yards
My mom did all that she can
She was sick with cancer and getting used by men
My mom had four kids and only one leg
She was hurting so bad she could barely get out of bed
We went from out west, to the projects, to the shelter
Where was family when she needed them to help her
Some nights we didn't have anything to eat
We had used clothes and passed down shoes on our feet
One day this man had my mom by her neck in the air
He knew she was sick and what he did wasn't fair
We were little kids but we helped all we could
Two women pulled us in a room so he could beat her as he would
I loved my mom to death because she never left our side
Until she went into the hospital and didn't come out alive
My life was far from the word glory
I never saw my father or his people, but that's another story
It seems like things only got woser
When my mom passed that's the last I saw of my baby brother
We got split up now it's just me and my sister
By this time I'm really just shook up
God put my grandparents in our lives to replace the pain
But it stuck to me like an unremovable stain
Why me, so many years I wondered why
So hurt, I thought it will fill better if I were to die
Life broke me down till I could barely stand
If this didn't happen I wouldn't be the man that I am

How I Feel

Lets walk down this road of life
where happiness and hurt dwells
where pain fads away
For love always prevails
I gave you my heart
which was broken into pieces
I wanted to die
But you showed me where peace lives
You sacrificed your life
To make sure I had one
You gave birth to my babies
My two girls and my son
The love I have for you
Words can't describe
I would die for you
Thats how i feel inside

The Love I Have For You

Love doesn't describe what I feel for You
Its deeper than the deepest ocean
stronger than any metal
what can come between us "nothing"
Not money, Not family, noting that revolves around me
so how can i let you go
see you float in the wind as it blows
my love refuses to hurt you
my heart cant stand to see you cry
You deserve so much better than me
someone that will make you complete
Even though I love you like God loves us
I cant let you stay to go through pain
It seems like rain only comes from my dark clouds
And I have no umbrella to keep you safe
And when you go you will take my heart 
And I prey to God that my soul doesn't follow
I love you so much, that I just want to see you happy
Even if that means living your life without me

Ma why you wont wake up
Why are you so cold
Please open your eyes
why is everybody crying
why is everybody telling me you are in a better place
what does that mean
Ma please get up

You went to the hospital
You said you're coming back
But you didn't come home

My Little Girl

I got love, no I got unconditional love

A love that I love that loves me back

A love that breathes and smiles

A love that runs my nerves wild

A love that walks on little feet with ten tiny toes

A love that has two hands and ten fingers that grabs food out of my bowl

A love that I wouldn't trade for the world

A love that God blessed me with through my little girl

I Found My Way

A lost little lamb in a world so cold
Striped of it's fur and herd
Now it feels the bitterness that life can bring
now It want's life to end
But he finds the will to go on
He traveled and overcame many obsticals
It's many days that he would cry
And there wasn't anyone to wipe the tears away
The reason for his situation, he always wonder why
Because of his hardships, he found himself humbled
Now he walks with his head up high
And when he walks his path he doesn't stumble
A lamb that beat all odds, 
and found his way through life
For he listened to the voice of Jesus Christ

Why My Life

I want life for death always shows his face
Stuck inside this world of tears
When will my day come when I cry no more
I no longer look back on my past
I no longer have visions of my mom laying cold and stiff
I no longer ask God why me, why my life

How did I become a loving father when I didn't have one
How do I still have a heart when it got ripped out my chest
How do I still walk when my soul been took
I need to be set free from this world of tears
Today is the day I cry no more

My Baby

A seed I planted in beautiful soil
The Lord made sure it was daily nourised
By giving it rain and fertilizer
The roots began to grow
Waiting for the day it shall rise
For it will have my undivided attention
Now it seems like the weather is right
For my seed to come to light
It has risen before my eyes
Truely there's no better gift
A voice of an angel was heard
Which brought tears to my eyes
This came from a part of me
Which was a blessing from the creator of the skies

Never Let Go

You can make it no matter what anyone says
These hard times is only just a phase
Prey that it would be a better day
Because Jesus provides if you have the faith
Believe that everything can be achieved
You can do anything you just have to believe
Don't fall because someone said you wouldn't amount to anything
They are just words, never let go of your dreams 
Just when it seems like you're out for the count
This is when Jesus steps in and show you what He's about
Never pout and never give up on yourself
For chances never end until you're a victim of death
Keep pushing even if everyone turned their backs 
When you finally make it watch how they react
If you're like me, when there's none to watch you to succeed 
True happiness for your soul is what you need to feed
I hope what I say connects with your soul
For I am the perfect example of never letting go
