The Love I Have For You

Love doesn't describe what I feel for You
Its deeper than the deepest ocean
stronger than any metal
what can come between us "nothing"
Not money, Not family, noting that revolves around me
so how can i let you go
see you float in the wind as it blows
my love refuses to hurt you
my heart cant stand to see you cry
You deserve so much better than me
someone that will make you complete
Even though I love you like God loves us
I cant let you stay to go through pain
It seems like rain only comes from my dark clouds
And I have no umbrella to keep you safe
And when you go you will take my heart
And I prey to God that my soul doesn't follow
I love you so much, that I just want to see you happy
Even if that means living your life without me

Letting a love fly free is the true meaning of love. Being able to let go shows the true side of caring.

Darryl, a wise woman once told me that "True love sometimes means letting go." From what you say in this genuine, tender write, I can tell that you have this type of love in your heart. Excellent poem! Love, Carolyn
