Broken Heart

....
                  broken heart
           that I am, has beset
    by blemishes though I'm not
 ashamed; for my shattered
pieces myself is to blame.
here I breath waiting for the
day of my renewal, then back
to the role I play; painful
         past lurking still, but
            I'm not afraid to take
                chances to love and
                    be whole once
                        more and
                             be ready
                                 to shed
                                      a tear
                                         of joy
                                              !

Warmth

Sun
kiss me
your sweet rays
let your warm breath
touched upon my face
bathe me with your radiance
and witness as a smile blooms
from my eyes that glow in surprise
to my full lips longing to be sealed
by an endearing and passionate kiss!

Forever, Michael Jackson

famed
adored
yet forlorn;
your memories
live

Farewell, MJ. May you find now
the happiness you truly deserved.
You will be missed :(

Mayon Volcano

While kiss by the clouds
     Perfect cone remains sober
           Fury hides beneath

The subject is one of the active volcanoes
in my homeland, Philippines. Proud to be
one of the nominees in the race for
7 Wonders of Nature :)

Superheroes

A childhood dream - see them and feel,
My superheroes, thought they were real:

Superman, the man of steel

Batman on his wheels

Spider-man on his tightest suit

The oversize body of Incredible Hulk.

With He-man's masculinity
I dreamed I was her leading lady;

The X-men had added to my illusion -
Be among the students of the professor:

Wolverine, my deepest crush

Cyclops eyes' made me blushed

Gambit, simply the best

Beast, to add on the list.

Now I'm fully grown up and realization has come,
That superheroes are just artificial
I've known people never thought I'd met
The real heroes of my life, not to forget.

The Bus Driver

Will you ride with me on this bus?
I promise the trip is in no rush
For the driver is careful and gentle
He will forbid danger to meddle

Will you ride with me on this bus?
Comforting and void of all the fuss
Guaranteed seat for you to take
Well designed for passenger's sake

Take a ride with me now on this bus
In a condition you can't make a refund
For the fare is free for all destinations
Welcome to people of every nation

Ride with me now on this bus
Take my word, we are in good hands
For the One above is our careful driver
Driving our lives so we may not suffer

Always There

A friend -
shadow behind
follows you at all times
most visible in the darkness -
gives light

Rainy Night

moon hides 'neath the clouds
as rain hums a song tonight
hushes thirsty earth

Sweet Spring

Butterflies in glee
As roses' scent fills the air
Nectar drops - sweet treat!
