Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
CURVE LINES BY Dr Ranjit Dutta
Have you ever looked your curve lines on your palm ?
And questioned the existence of the fore- head lines?
Did the world ever make you question your destiny?
Someone told
Life is governed by these Mystical lines .
Is these funny curves direct our fate?
Did we ever wonder what might be the grammer of the curves?
How does the curves work ?
And how do they provide a solution to Earth-shattering problems?
These little lines determine our existence – past, present, and future!-it is said
Isn’t that funny Mondakanta?
Stuck between belief and disbelief
Never did I have the courage to wipe them out.
When my wishes are fulfilled, my life takes a beautiful turn
Thank them with joy .
Hopes to fly that can aim for the stars
Wishes no longer feel Like a distant dream.
Life starts to feel rosy Emotions reflect on it fragrance
Sometimes when very life begins to Burn,
And the pain Spreads like Wildfire the
Moment my dreams are crumbled by these vicious lines
It never fail to surprise me.
No-one knows the rules of the game nor will anyone solve.
Indeed a mystery !
Mystery
And mystery!

LET ME LIVE IN DARKNESS
BY DR RANJIT DUTTA
I have been listening
Your call
Your voice is very vivid
But alas!
I have not recognized you!
Even failed to recollect
your identity!
I have not seen anything
As I have removed my spectacle
And now I feel comfortable .
But When I put it
In my eyes
I face immense difficulties
The real image of man
Reflects in my spectacle .
How long will I visualized
The double faces of these funny people?
I am bored!
I am frustrated to see their
Acceptance of darkness with a smile
They are one step forward in darkness
And two steps backward in daylight.
So funny!
Hence I put off my glass
At least I 'll not see those snobs .
Hello, Please don't shout !
I have not come out to the threshold
At the call of my soul
My room is dark and deep
Please do not come in
I know you will go back
With anguish shouting some slangy
And will continue your race after mirage
Let me live in darkness too !
Let me see beauty of light from darkness
Keeping a distance
Far away from you.

Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
Home
Rajorshi Patranabis
Carefully beautified
A home
A mad desire
For a happy living
Locked securely,
One and two
And every nook and corner
Decorated with care
Dreams slumber
Hither thither
Lonely in recline
Thoughts cross
Sandcastles of dreams
Have devoured so much time
So much of love and care eloped!
Life smiles impish
Teeth rocks on itself
Nimbles of walking ahead,
This side and that
Will love sided on the wall
With flowered enamor
Sit on the living room?
Tracing the mirage of happiness
Deserts of sandy life
Searches of sand castles
Life ends
Feel every moment
If life would've been like home
Decorate with love
With care and happiness!

CRISIS
BY DR RANJIT DUTTA
A blanket of darkness everywhere!
Civilization, society, love ,
Faith and religion
All are on the threshold of crisis.
My heart revolts
And says something different
The mysterious journey of time spreads
An enigmatic essence of evolution.
The lizard on the wall,
Hoots of the owl on the banana tree,
The colourful giant sky
Aren’t they the witness of eternal time?
The soul, incarnation and re-birth
All are in crisis of thought.
Weeping civilization asks again and again
But never an answer anywhere
All are spellbound,
Tough responsibility on the
Shoulder innocent generation
Unknown countless time,
A new social panorama
Reddish songs of life,
Joyous poetical notes,
A colourful dreams of love.
With Indomitable spirit of revolution
It’s indeed a journey!
A mysterious journey of eternal time.

Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
Evening Dream
Dr Ranjit Dutta
With your ardour
In that green valley
You raised your hand
To the evening sky,
I remember too.
Looking two glazing stars of
That silvery evening,
Two cormorants were
Swimming in the morass
Chewing the verses
Fearing nothing.
Keeping aside
The gloomy darkness,
I was talking with my
Poetry of cosmic green
Who was grazing in your bosom.
Suddenly
Her rude face and
your blue costumes searched someone
In broken words .
The wan pink spread
silken perfume
On her cottony body,
My poetry fell in the bog
While you came close and closer,
The evening dream of
Blue and pink
Became pale green.

Lost Moments
Dr Ranjit Dutta
Fleeting whispers
Smiles so bright,
Gone with wind
Into endless night.
Unclaimed kisses,
Unseen tears,
Echoes fade
All the years through.
Haze memory
Recalls
Missed opportunities
Once and all.
A bitter-sweet reminder
To see
The value of now
In destiny,
Each precious moment
A gift divine
Never comes again,
The chance to shine
Embrace the present,
Let go past
Only as past
Because the time's river,
Forever flows fast.

Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
Once As Before
Dr Ranjit Dutta
What has happened to them?
The heart once full of love
Now turned away.
The twinkling eyes once
Filled with hope
Now dim and grey.
Their souls,
Once free and wild but
Now chained and astray.
What has happened to them?
Their voices ,
Once raised with joy but
Now whispering low,
Their footsteps,
Once light with dance
Now slow and go.
Their laughter,
Once music to the air
But now echoes anew.
What has happened to them?
I want their love,
I want their light ,
I want their laughter.
Have they lost on their way
In a world gone awry?
Have the forgotten
To touch the blues of the sky?
Are the black greedy demons
Swallowed silvery nights?
Oh Almighty!
Let them make
The people once again,
To be meant to be before.

Weevil storyline
Dr Ranjit Dutta
Gave no one
Visions to look into future
Or through
The womb of limitless emotions
Saved lights from
Thousands of light years
But still, I can't
Enlighten my darkened
Emotional tunnels of sences,
Couldn't fathom either
Life and the world
Times of erudition,
Every soul is like that
Hidden pearl
Looked not seen
Known not learnt.
We clutter
Our mindless thoughts ;
The ancient readings of my mother
Stands as weevil storyline
Gropes in darkness,
The world habituates
Dreaming goldlines
An unknown intoxication
Fulfillness to live
To stay alive.

Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
Cacophony by Dr Ranjit Dutta
Hi gentleman!
I am bored
Bored of talking to silence
Throughout the years
Now I want to talk
I want to talk
Of my reddish burned heart
Sitting with you in cacophony
And listen the twittering Of morning Birds.
I'll drown in the uproar
Slowly and silently,
The cracking dreadful sound of
Night insects 'll vanish in cacophony.
Hi gentleman!
Do you like to talk to me
And to share me
the untold tale of your rosy heart?
The beam of divine pleasure'll
Knock the closed
Doors of my heart.
I feel excited
As I have been playing with silence
Since long
I'm now throwing my loneliness
For you only.
My heart is filled with cacophony
Only the sweet beat of cacophony
Cacophony of a dream
A bit of light
And some beliefs of life.

Dr Ranjit Dutta Poem
DILEMMA OF LOVE AND SELFISHNESS
DR RANJIT DUTTA
There is a conflict
In evey moment
without knowing,
There is a conflict
In everyone's heart
Without thinking.
My mother said--
Love is gracious,
Love fastens
Everyone forever.
Poet says-
The earth moves on love
Three worlds rapt on love,
Love is life,
Love is death.
Father said my mother-
Leave those silly thoughts,
It's nothing
But a cryptic frail.
Love is
An ellusive shell,
Covers improbity softly,
A dream and reality
Of ephemeral life
decorated with affinity.
Hit the drum of selfishness
See how it turns it's shape,
But even today
I don't know
What's love meant for?
I peep inside
Down my memory lane and
Sitting alone in loneliness,
I ask my self
What are relationships?
My lover ask me-
Isn't love an assimilation
Of enjoyment and selfishness?
I enquired myself
What is love?
Love is for what?
It is an attraction, or a romantic frill
Or an emotional weakness
Swimming in the river of
enjoyment and self-interest?
I don't know,
May be you too.
I don't know
Even someone
knows it or not!
Only I feel
All 're swimming
In the same river
without knowing
without speculating.
