Josette Key Poem
I don't remember my father
Ever saying "I love you"
I don't remember my father
Ever holding me or
Showing me any affection.
My father was not 'Father Knows Best'
My father was not ' Andy Griffith'
My father was not 'Make Room For Daddy'.
But as I've grown older
I find that what he was is
A lot more important than what
He wasn't.
He put food on the table
He put clothes on my back
He taught me to love music...........All music
He taught me to love animals.
All those things make me who I am
And you know.....That's not such a bad thing.

Josette Key Poem
He's dead
He's dead
Shot himself in the head.
Walked right out the kitchen door
So blood couldn't stain the brand new floor.
He's dead
He's dead
Walked around like a great big jerk
His gun just one of many quirks
Short little guy who had no friends
Probably had to wear Depends.
He's dead
He's dead
So what.

Josette Key Poem
Youl walked away
With a laugh and a wave
Like nothing had changed.
Complaining about the
Lack of beer
With the promise of a call.
But, I knew
I knew there would be no call
I knew that our time together
Was over.
You would never have admitted it
But, I knew.

Josette Key Poem
There's a mouse in my house
It just ran under the couch
I really hate to say
But I don't think I can take it.
There's a mouse in my house
I'm really quite annoyed
There's some bread on the floor
It must have really enjoyed.
There's a mouse in my house
Think I'll hit it with my shoe
It seems to be quite dead now
Think I'll flush it down the loo.
